Oh k i got my 73 z (thanks texasz you da man bruddah) and ive got it in tip top shape everything on it is working great, except for my taillights. The hazzards turn signals(front and back) brake lights and reverse lights work. But i cant for the life of me figure out how to get my night driving taillights to work. The fuses are good the wiring is good what am i missing here fellahs??

theres a few guys over at hybridz who bought the 350z tranny and are going to fit it to their z's. the adfvantage of a 6 speed would be on a road course, you would be able to keep the revs up high and keep your turbo boosting(of you were running a turbo). Also, wince the gear would be more closely spaced, it would be easier to adjust your shifting to stay in the vehicals powerband since you would have more options. Not nesscerily the best choice for drag racing. And most dragsters(top fuel) use pnuematically shifted 2 speed transmissions or hydromatic transmissions.

3/8 AND 1/2 are next on my list. it was just a good deal that popped up so i went a head and snagged it whilke it was there.

ok i bought a set of SK tools. 44 piece 1/4 drive socket set metric and fractional. Lifetime warranty and all that good stuff. only 70 bux for the set. hope it was worth it.

sk-Facom stuff seems to be pretty good. I need to order a set of sockets or something and try em out. Ive heard good stuff about it though. I didnt realize snap on stuff was so expensive untill i started lookin at it the other night. Even the stuff on ebay was rediculous. And WTF i saw a big box (like a 4 piece box HUGE) full of tools going for 160,000 holy $^!#.

YEAH 150,000 thats a joke, the first one sold went for over 500,000 no doubt the 150,000 estimated price tag will be overshadoewd once they get into circulation. If you want to get one i would suggest pre-ordering, because thats the ONLY way your gonna get one for 150,000

im gonna throw some of my OWN stupid into the 350 argument. But i personally think its a beautiful machine. I love the line and when i look at it i think of it as the 240's lil brother. It has too look up to and respect what came before it, and reguardless i, think it does so. It is in my eyes not a continuation of the z, but a re-birth.

A 260 z is also oh k, i need a car with very little rust.

I personally think its a lil bit to square to be on a z(but this is only my OPINION) all o fethe othe body kits just accentuate teh z.s lines, your seems to try and make the car look different, it has a ver 80's vibe to it.

UNT in denton all the way. going to be attendint the university of north texas college of music next fall. I dunno how the weather there will be, but as far as heat go's, ive grown up here, and the heat isnt to me what it is to other people, i wouldnt call texas hot, more like tropical. I didnt know that sand would kill a z, il have to lookinto what they use up there.

Ok im looking to get a 240z(or 260 maybe a 280 in a pinch) but i got to thinking, im about ot be in college and i wont have enough time or money to do much more than basic maintenance onit. Is the z not for me?? if i buy one thats in good working order should i expect to have to work on it too much for it to be my daily/ only driver. I know its a 30 year old car bu i figured you would be the guys to ask.

I saw a skyline this weekend, it passed me bye on a trailer, th eguy had converted(hah converted) it to hatch back, kinda cool twist, very unique and it looked kool.
