coil-overs or no?
Has anybody had any encounters with the Ground Control coil-over system...? They're priced pretty reasonably and would provide me with the drop that I'm looking for...And..while we're on the subject..What strut would recommend with the same set-up.. Ak

Bumpy ride
Sup Z folks...? This is a matter of opinion but I need all I can get..What's your feeling on KYB shocks..My current struts gave up the ghost a long time ago and since I have to replace them anyway I guess I don't know which is the best setup for me..I'll mostly be doing just really hard street driving and I definitely want a lowered spring but I have heard varying ideas about the reliablity and ride quality when using KYBs...So what's the skinny..? Wiring up Japanese tail lights on a '73 240Z
How do these lights look from the otherside..? I ask because I am desperately seeking "european type" tail lights, turn signals, and a new headlight design..Does anyone have any idea of where I can find any of these.. MAS used to carry the tail and signal lights but Nissan stopped production on them..And as for the headlights.. I've seen a superwhite conversion for H4 from Catz..I think Nopi imports here in Atlanta can get those..Thoughts...? Ak

Looking to upgrade my sounds...
Does anyone know who makes decent front speakers for the early z's..I'm looking to put an Alpine head unit in that puts out 50watts x 4 and combine that with a 10inch sub enclosure..Any thoughts? Ak

Rag tops
I've seen several decent looking electric and manual folding regtops on West Coast cars(not any z's though) and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this..Has anyone else seen these, and has anyone seen any on a z ? I'm considering this mod for my 74 but don't want to ruin the integrity of the unibody frame.. Ak

hey guys tell me what you think
I saw that same z about a year ago..I inquired about getting the car but was on;y willing to pay about $3,500 at the time..The owner was really arrogant and almost seemed insulted at my offer, even though it says obo..It may be a nice car but I got a really bad vibe..Not your typical z owner..Just a heads up.. What's your Driving Music?
Here's the skinny Early mornings/Late nights = Old school R&B for me anything from the '70s Rush hour/hangin' with the fellas = Hip Hop (and it don't stop) But I agree that the best sound is from that sweet L28 Ak

Sound (again)
Are we talking about Bazookas..? They are available in 10 and 12 inches sizes and even offer an amplified version..I'm not sure of the specs though// Ak

While we're on the subject..
I've seen a picture before of a z in MSA with the headlight covers painted to the color of the car..but then is there another soultion to installing a separate set of headlights anywhere on the grill or something..Does that make sense..? Ak

Tight steering
'Sup folks..I'm here to pick our collective brain again..What might be the major reason for the steering being so tight in my 74 260z..And how might I loosen it up a bit...Keep in mind that I haven't driven many sports cars and my might just be acting like a wimp..does it make sense to be looking for some sort of power assist kit..Once again I might be wimping..But does a kit like that even exist.. Thanks in advance Ak

260z w L28
Whats the consensus on the best trasmission or gear box to convert a an L28 into a 260z.. My attempt is to get a much smoother gear ratio...Right now the throws are short enough but it doesn't have that butter smooth feeling that I'm looking for..Any ideas..? Should I do a transmission rebuild or look for an aftermarket gearbox.. Ra

'72 240Z with much rust...
Does the car that you're working on have rust on the frame..? If so be very careful..Its been my expereince that rusted frame rails, floor boards.etc in an older Z is usually trouble..With its unibody construction.you don't want to tkae a chance on a weak point that could stress the frame under duress...
