  1. I know parting it out would be better, but I don't want to mess with the hassle, I don't even have a garage. I'm sure someone out there would want this car. I would meet someone half way is they wanted. Cincinnati is about half way between Owensboro and Pittsburg.
  2. Yeh, thats mildew on it, it has been sitting for a while. As far as price, I don't know what it is worth. I see them for dirt cheap running.
  3. I will not sell just the wheels. The ad has been updated. Thanks
  4. 1981 Datsun 280ZX turbo It is white with t-tops and has 131,000 miles on it. The car was parked 3 years ago, at the time the brakes were good, it had a new steering rack, all accessories still worked, it has Michelin tires, and the original alloy wheels. The engine was reliable and ran like clockwork. It had regular oil changes. Then engine will turn over, but it needs something electrical, possibly a crank position sensor. All the glass is good and the t-tops do not leak. The body needs restoration, but it is straight. I do have a truck and trailer to haul it anywhere it needs to go within reason, or meet half way somewhere. Pictures are available at: http://community.webshots.com/album/97253069JddAGN
  5. When I get my digital camera back from being repaired I will send you some pics. I do believe the crank sensor is the problem. According to the factory manuals, the ignition system lives off of that thing, but it's taking a $300 gamble if I buy a new one. I do have a bare wire around the coil area, and according to my manual it goes right in to the distributor, BUT, my dist. doesn't have any wires OR places for wires on it. I was thinking this was the problem, or part of it, but my father told me it ran like that before. :stupid:
  6. I still don't see that box anywhere, on the car or in my manual. It's a turbo, does that make a difference?
  7. My distributor doesn't have a black box anywhere near it, should it?
  8. I have an 81 280ZX turbo that has been sitting for 3 years since it quit running. The car ran great until it suddenly would not start one day. The engine turns over but I have no spark. I believe that the problem is electrical, possibly the crank position sensor, but I don't want to spend $300 and that not be the problem. I have the factory service manual for the car, but it tells me I need a ECCS analyzer to chase these problems, but my local Nissan dealer doesn't even have this machine. It has been sitting long enough and something needs to be done.
