  1. did all of the 4 sets (L+R) 2 per side) come with the metal sleeve? I have the Energy Suspension kit and you'll probably find that alot of us here have the same kit. This may sound dumb but there are two halves and a metal sleeve for each of the holes on the outer control arm. If you have all 8 bushing halves and all four sleeves, and they allow the spindle pin to move around in any direction other than in and out or twisting, SEND THEM BACK!!!! Don't even attempt to put them in if they are even a little loose. Just remember that the outer part of the control arm takes the fullgrunt of torque from the wheels. And if it's even a little loose, Your asking for trouble. JMO Dave. P.S. put a nice light coating of anti-sieze on the spindle pin, if you ever decide to remove it yourself in the future with minimal force (to your wallet)

I'm also on a "cable Connection" and my computer is pretty fast for what it's worth. After I played 4 times at an average 18.635 secs each, I stopped focusing on the blue and blurred my vision a bit (kindof tunnel vision) and pulled a 33.746 on a high speed connection. I love stuff like this. Until ya stop and every thing looks like blue squares. And I'm driving a RED Z!NOT good when you go driving right afterwards :stupid: Dave
  3. Just letting those of you know that I'm on my way out the door to make some deliveries. YEAH!! I SHOULD get my parts order in, and that will allow me to finish the rest of the orders that I have in so far. Dave
  4. Or Try Something Like This.
  5. Never mind, I was having a "Pilati" moment. Your talking about piggy backing the parking light harness's power wire onto the headlight harness's power wire. Essencially, They both use the bolt on the batteries positive terminal. But keep this in mind, the PLH's fuse and wire go behind the battery and are almost unseen, where as the headlight harness's power wire goes towards the front of the car and runs along the battery wire that goes towards the battery, until you get to the frame, then it goes forward and into the relay pack on the V.R. Hope that helps, Dave.
  6. What would you piggy back the power for? Are you adding something? Help me understand. Sorry bout the straight forward questions but Bryan Pilati is killing me with questions that my 8 year old daughter could answer.:tapemouth Questions like this... "I don't see where this is intended to improve the dash lights. It's for the marker/parking and tail lights. __________________ Bryan Pilati I'm never serious unless I should be. _________________________________________________________________ Dave
  7. Have you even been reading these forums? The dash lights are the FIRST lights in the parking light system. When you turn the switch(headlight switch) to the first position, the dash lights come on, as do the parking lights. When you add power to the system (the way that my harness does) you INCREASE the light output of the bulbs in the dash and in all the parking lights as well as the side markers. Hope that answers your question, Dave
  8. It's not totaly plug and play. You do have to mount the relay and run the power wire from the battery, thru the firewall, then thru the dash and into the relay socket. But I get your meaning. Glad you like the idea and design. Dave. P.S. To all those who either have or are getting the parking light harness, I forgot to mention that it's easier to plug the power wire's terminal into the relay socket if the relay is removed first.
  9. Give us a good starting price. What do you expect to make or what sounds like a good, reasonable price to ya? A lot more people will take interest if they know where to start. JMO, Dave
  10. the hazard switch on a series 1 and possibly 2 is a toggle switch centered on the dash between the Tach and the heater/fan knob (up is on, down is off) look in the galleries, Dave
  11. Sorry guys, U.P.S. is now officially on my sh_t list. I wont get the parts I needed to finish your harness's till wednesday. Which means I'll be able to finish them that night and get them out the door on thursday. David Honeycutt, Your harness should go out on Tuesday, if I get a chance. Joseph Davis, Your harness should also go out on Tuesday, if I get a chance. Garth, your harness's will be shipped when I ship David's and Joseph's. Sorry for the small delay! Thanks again Jonathan, Ron stevens- you should have yours by now, Let us know how it went. Dave
  12. Jonathan, That is one of the most complete positive feedbacks I've ever gotten. Thank you very much, I think I'm blushing:love: You hit all the highlights. You mentioned shipping, ease of install, It's benefits, and after all that, you even got a second opinion on there as well. I'm SOOOO happy that you're happy with the product. There is no better advertisement than "word of mouth" Thank you, to all who have said good things about the harness's I make and the way I do business. My mother was right when she said "Do unto others as you would have done unto you" It's the best philosophy when running a small business. She also said "If you make a product, Make a quality product that even YOU would want to buy" She knows how damn picky I can be. You're all very welcome and THANK YOU ALL again! Dave.
  13. Garth, (Montoya_Fan01) When I ship your harness's out to you, should I put anything like "C/O Garth __-_" ?? I don't know your last name nor did you put it anywhere on the package or anything else. Email me with that info please. Gary of Spokane, WA. If all goes well, I should be able to ship your harness out tomorrow. Gary of Oroville, WA. Same thing but on both harness's. Bryan Ray, Most likely tomorrow as well. Any one else interested in the harness can E-mail me at wolfin32z@yahoo.com I'll get back to you A.S.A.P. Thanks guys, Dave.
  14. Montoya_fan01- Your Gen1 harness showed up today and will be updated and shipped with you parking light harness on Monday or Tuesday. Dave.
  15. I don't know, I still kinda like the first one better. Roof rack and the L20B do it for me, and the wheels help in sell. JMO
  16. If you can care less about ride comfort, I've got a set of original Molholand springs. They are pretty much what you want for perfomance in the corners of a race track. But not really good for roads with rutts or bumps in it. What would you offer me? Dave
  17. Now you guys got me thinking about a second car :stupid: It's got potential poring out of every oriface, I LIKE IT!! You have to understand that my first love (Datsun) was a 78' 510 (A10) 2 door hatchback. It had an L20B and that cool 5-speed (reverse is where 1st should be and 1st is where 2nd should be) I wooped but in that car all day loooooong! So I kinda miss it. And that 411 would look sweet with a clean paint Job (any thing from looking like a woody to brite red) about 1 inch bigger wheels, lowered a little, Nice little sound system, Bench seats in the front so you can pull your girl next to you on those long road trips to go get more parts for the Z. You see where I'm going, Right? Dave
  18. SavannahZ- Your harness will be mailed out tomorrow. Ron Stevens- Your harness will be mailed out tomorrow. Thank you both for your orders, they were both prompt and appreciated. I'll try to keep doing it this way so you can check here to see if your order has been filled. It also keeps you from having to personally write me and then wait for a responce. It's kinda like an on-line order tracking system, nah, not really:D Dave. UPDATE: both were shipped on (1-28-06)
  19. Got some bad news, My supplier just called and said that the order that I made on thursday morning did'nt go out all day long, Some B.S. with the shipping department. So he said that the order went out today and will most likely NOT be here till MONDAY!! May not seem like a big deal to most, but I really wanted to get them made and DELIVERED to you guys on Monday. So, we're already getting delays, damnit  Sorry guys, Dave.
  20. SavannahZ.. I got your M.O. and your harness should be in the mail later on today, If not early tomorrow. Thanks for your order. Dave. Update: see below
  21. I made an order this morning and should get some more parts by tomorrow afternoon. I'm working on it. Keep the orders coming, I have'nt worked for my other boss in a couple of weeks now. So this is my only income, and it keeps me at home where I should be. Thanks guys, Dave.
  22. I wanted to say thanks to all of you who have raved, bragged, and given good and great reviews about the "headlight relay upgrade harness" I just spent 2 hours looking over every forum on headlights, harness's and anything else pertaining to the subject. I read more than a few reviews out loud to my wifeand she said "you must be doing something right, for them to write all that and even defend your harness to others". Few more things... Jim Coffey, You check was recieved and your "parking light harness goes in the mail today. Thanks for being the first on this new venture of mine. Bryan Pilati, Thank you soooooo much for your patience, Your harness is boxed and being shipped out today. Bryan Ray, I got your money order and your harness's should be in the mail by mid next week (around the 2/1/06) Thanks again to every one who has been involved in any way, shape or form in the ordering, making, and reviews of the headlight and parking light harness's. Much love and appreciation, Dave in WA. State.
  23. They're more of a pain in the tookus than any thing else. The plugs on the V.B. harness plug into your headlight, not the harness. Which means you have to dismantle the headlight bucket (we all know how much fun that is) then you have to figure out how to put a 1.5" plug thru a 5/8" hole. Their harness has bright yellow protective tubing that stands out like a sore thumb and the wires are not that much bigger than stock wires (almost pointless) the list goes on.
