  1. Not real sure. That's definately a JMortenson question. After we installed my LSD into the 70, I used NAPA 75w90 and 8oz of friction Modifier and it's quiet with plenty of grab. I haven't felt or heard it slip yet. Dave
  2. Well, I haven't heard anything from Chuck496 or Yetterben yet. They seem to have dropped off the planet. So If I haven't heard anything from them after mid next week, then there will be 2 extra's open for sale. So guys, if you havent sent payment or at least contacted me, you're "This Close" to losing your Reserved R/T. Dave
  3. Gary, Got your check today. Yours is actually the first to arrive, out of all the ones that are "On the way" Thanks man, Dave
  4. Another 72' or any similar year. That looks like the one in my 70 and my 74' and they both have R200's
  5. Yellow it is. Does it need a (-) or (+) signal to turn the relay on? Thanks Mike. Dave
  6. So does anyone have the Wiring diagram for the 73' or know what color the Fuel pump relay wire is that goes to the VR? This is what I really need. Also, Who has a good link for an "Oil pressure switch" or " RPM sense switch" to activate and shut off the relay in sync with a running or non-running motor? Please and THANK YOU, Dave
  7. Perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for. I'll report it to Arron at MSA. So I guess I'll need to know what we can do about it..... Any suggestions? I'm thinking finding the correct wire and connecting it to an RPM switch? Or directly to the Ignition? Or to the Oil pressure switch on the block? What do you guys got for people who will want to keep their fuel pump relay plugged in? Dave
  8. Thanks Steve, These are the things I'm looking for. I hate for MSA to have to tell their 73' Z customers that "They can't get one, due to possible issues with their 73's electrical system" Anybody else? Dave
  9. I got a call from MSA yesterday and they said they were having issues with a few ZXP's. After a little research, They discovered that the issue with the ZX alternator and the ZXP alternator adaptor was ONLY is the 73' 240Z's.... So if you have purchased a ZXP thru me or MSA and have had Battery drain issues. Please post on this thread. What year 240Z? What was the Issue(s)? (battery drain? Melting wires? what? Average Climate in your area of the world? Any other electrical mods that may have contributed to the issue? What was the solution? What did you do to fix it? (replace alt, ZXP, wiring?) Not looking for a discussion. Just the facts. The glue in the ZXP's melts but this is not the issue at hand. Just need to know if your 240Z had an issue with the ZXP installed and what year your Z was. Thanks guys. I wanna report back to MSA soon and help figure this out. Dave
  10. You did it correctly. There's always more gap in front. You have a motor up front, the car shifts forward weight when you apply the brakes and the front wheels turn as apposed to the rears. So there's always more gap in front. My car is on Post #12 and you can see the front has more gap. Your Z looks great, Dave
  11. I can NO longer *EDIT* post #1 so I've moved the list to here (#29) Got ya marked down Tbone028. Still havent heard from Yetterben, Chuck496 or NorthernZ If there are abbreviations but no star near your name, it means you've contacted me about the form of payment that is on the way but it hasn't arrived yet. So here's what we got so far...... *= Prepaid for, Ca=Cash, Ch=Check, pp=Paypal Dave (me) ..............1*Ca S30Driver................1*Ch Chuck496................1 Brian Laine Z8..........20*Ch Gary in NJ................1*Ch mlc240Z..................1*pp Tbone028................1*pp NorthernZ................1*Ch Yetterben................1 suzook86.................1*pp Stovepipe................1 (Cheque sent?) I'll try and keep this one updated. Dave
  12. Then start at the Haxard switch. Once again, the brakes and turn signals go thru the Hazard switch. If it gets loose, unplugged or old, it can fail the Turn signal and brake lights. I dead flasher will only kill the Turn signals. Not the Brake lights. Dave
  13. Jay, Test the Switch on the pedal, then test the wire from there to the Turn signal switch as they are all intertwined. The T/S switch disconnects the brake light of the side your turning. Meaning.... When you take a left and use the Turn Signal, the switch disconnects the left brake light and routes it thru the flasher.... Hope that helps, Dave
  14. Wow! Bart. a little Impatient are we? I've been told the 30th. That's what I'll stick with unless the metal shop proves otherwise, and I don't see that happening. Relax, Be Patient my friend. Your goodies will come in a timely manner. Fix your Signature yet? it's not like you don't have time......... Dave
  15. SOLD OUT!! ALL GONE!! No More!! They should be ready to ship by Friday the 30th. Thanks to ALL who jumped on board and made this a workable Group Buy!! Dave
  16. Chris, you're on the list. Thanks. 1 left folks. Dave
  17. ONLY 1 LEFT!! Last Chance. When they are gone, I think they're gone for good. Or at least from me. So hurry up if you're interested. Have a great week, Dave
  18. I see plenty of good or salvagable parts in the 1 picture alone.
  19. Scott, I put you on the list on the 1st post. Thanks for your order. Dave
  20. Welcome and good luck. I too have had mine for 7 years, almost 8 as of October. They're worth the effort, you just gotta get on it. Your wife won't get rid of a wedding dress she'll never use again but you gotta get rid of your classic car??? I don't think so. Get on it and take it one step at a time. It'll live again with a little (or a lot) of help. Good luck, Dave
  21. almost all Z's (S30's) use the same style radiatro and mounting points, as far as i can tell. S30 radiators have No plastic. The Overflow is plastic, but that's about it. So filling the radiator should not cause the overflow to leak. Are ya sure you have your terminology correct? Is it the Radiator or the plastic jug that leaks? Dave
  22. If yu don't see a (*) next to your name on the first post, then please let me know how you plan to pay or if The check is on the way, so I can update your name. As far as I can tell, there is only 6 left. Dave

Yur names are on the list but I need to hear from you, telling me "PayPal Sent" or "Check is on the way" So I can update your name on the first post of the new thread. Thre are only a few left. Thanks guys, Dave
  24. Loyd, Email send. Ignore the "Write it in the thread" sentence, as you've already done it. Thanks. Dave
  25. What size speaker would the production kick plates be for? 5-1/4"? I like the idea if you could reproduce them easily and sell the pair for $30? or close to that.. Great idea.
