  1. Beautiful white light in a flood pattern w/ no obvious beams and they're more white than blue. There is also a city-lite bulb in there that works w/ my blinkers
  2. It's a cheap way to protect my new lights and IF i'm real lucky I'll get another 1/4 mpg, But I doubt it.
  3. Why is it that red Z's look so damn pretty in the grass w/ the sun shining down?
  4. You can barely see the dents on the door and the fender, but they stick out like a sore thumb to me.
  5. Yes I'm going to lower it 1.5" and yes, I'm goint to fix the dents as soon as the sun cooperates
  6. My new MiiG H4 conversion lights and new 16X7" Eagle Alloys w/ Yokahama 205/40R16"s
  7. early to mid mustangs were very noisy and always had the noise suppresors near the coil, or some form of one. check almost any ford supply house and you should find some thing to suit your needs very easily. Dave.
  8. SEXZY!!! Or at least thats what my girlfriend says..... Cause I only wash her (the Z) in the sun and of course I have to take my shirt off. Believe it or not, I actually have a body under all this ruff exterier. WISH!! Wish I had this, Wish I had that. Wish she went faster. stopped faster, had less dents, had more money, had more time.. You get the point. Dave.
  9. By the way, it was $36.88 for each pint $9.14 for each spray can made from the pint X 3 =$27.42 plus I still have whats left of the original pint for touch-up So in other words, I'll get an exact match, 3 spray cans and the remainder of the pint for $64.30 + tax. And he can make as much or as little as i need whenever I need it.
  10. Threefittyzee, I dont know about where you live but here in the northwest, Washington, we have a company called WESTCO AUTOBODY SUPPLY. SOME ONE BACKED OVER MY HOOD, and I was almost in tears. I took the Z to Westco and they brought out to the car what was explained to me as a (paint camera). he took several pictures of the paint, got and average of the paint color as it sits ( 20 year old paint job) downloaded it into the computer and the computer spit out the exact mixture to match my already 20 year old paint. He gave me a price quote for a pint (what I asked for) and he'll even put some in 3 spray cans for me to do minor repairs on the Z without it looking like it's ever been touched or repainted. I can have it mixed any time I want whether it be the paint you spray from a can, or the paint for a spray booth. here's what they gave me for when I'm ready to have it mixed.
  11. Hey Beandip, are you coming to my picnic on 6/05/04??? Go to the calender on the home page and go to june 5th,04 read up on it and get back to me. Dave in WA state
  12. Four?? I'm counting twelve (12)
  13. Concrete is EARTH:ie a ground the energy stored in a battery is only 1/8 of an inch from a ground source ie; the earth the average collector stores his/her battery (when outside the car) on the least coductive material available, Usually a good DRY piece of wood. A new plastic battery tray (when stored in the car) and the battery disconnected is almost as good as long as the wheels are still on the vehicle and insulating the car from the ground. Dave.
  14. The car IS 33 years old, new regulators could'nt hurt. You'd probably have to pull the reg's to repair them anyway, why not go new. Just my $.02c Dave
  15. SOLD $150.00 + $10.00 for the tank for me to deliver. Also wanted to say a big thanks to MIKE and all others who make this site possible. It rocks, and I've learned and taught so much because of this site. THANKS AGAIN, Dave in WA
  16. For all those who want to attend, We or I am putting a meet and great picnic together on the 5th of June, 2004. I'm planning on a park or good sized area in or around the city of Everett, Washington. Pot luck picnic where all who attend bring their favorite dish for all to share, bring pop and other assorted beverages. But PLEASE!! NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES of ANY kind. This will be a public area and we don't need anyone getting in trouble or ruining a Beautful bay or your Z. Telephone poles are hard to remove from the side of a Z or your spleen. For a better description, go to the calander or click on ANY event then click on the calander sign in blue writing just above the event, then go the bottom of the calander and goto june, click on the 5th. if you have questions, comments, or wish to discuss any thing about this, my E-mail is wolfin32z@yahoo.com thanks, Dave in Marysville, WA.
  17. there are also three (3) square nuts held in place for the rear license plate light assembly, not sure if it counts but they are there. and my replacement small hose clamps are 1/4" or 7mm? it's to early for me to think this hard:stupid:
  18. The previous picture also kinda shows my NEW MiiG H4 headlight conversion Kit I picked up on E-BAY for a total of $68.00. Beautiful brite white light flooding the front of the car, only took a half hour to swap both lights out. Needless to say I'm very happy w/ my purchase. and heres another view but from the rear.
  19. thanks guys but I might be rid of them to a gentleman in Seattle. He's only 30 miles from me and sounds very interested, Your right, they may be 14 X 6, I was never really good at guessing wheel sizes at a glance Thanks again guys Dave. and here's a view of the new wheels on the car, And YES I KNOW it needs to be lowered. My molholand springs are on the way as we type.
  20. I also see that the picture of the wheel has been looked at almost 70 times and only four people other than me have made a comment or seem interested, whats up with that? No offence guys, just kinda dumbfounded. O.K O.K. $150.00 and you come get em. Yes Regis, that is my final answer.
  21. Like 2manyZs said " just a lot of elbow grease and my 6" buffing wheel is now a 3" and my tripoli is all but gone (polishing compound) The insides of the slots are painted black to make the polished surface stand out more. Hey Gema, I'd go for 2manyZs wheels if I were you, He's closer and knowing the stickler that he can be, his are probably in better shape than mine. And you cant beat the fact that his are pre-loaded with good tires.
  22. it's cheaper to ship w/o the rubber and the two front tires are trashed and you dont want 'em, trust me And the wheels are 14"x 7"?? aluminum 5-slots, maybe some one around here knows how much they weigh.
  23. look in my gallary, I do have two, and for some weird reason, they're both 70's. I don't pick em, they just show up on my front lawn and I take them in, I can't help myself. I got a big heart, and a small wallet.
  24. the best year (IMO) for a Z is 70', but then again I guess I'm just a little parshel to my baby. Your asking the old bible question, and EVERY ONE has a different opinion on the subject.
  25. Arrrrg? I don't know a damn thing about looking up or calculating costs of shipping. And I'm guessing thats your Zip code. If you want to look it up, My address is: 7005 47th ave N.E. Marysville, Washington. 98270 If you really want them, I can have the rubber taken off the wheels for shipping. find out the weight of four rims w/shipping and all that and I might even lower the price of the wheels. It kinda up to you at this point. let me know Dave.
