I couldn't afford one, and yes they are available (in stock form) so I welded the holes shut using peices of sheet metal. Below, you'll see mine as it sits now, with holes filled and the exhaust cut-out also filled. And those are Porsche 924 front bumper blocks with the ends trimmed to a flat level form. Then bolted on using the supplied studs and nuts that came off the Porsche. Dave

Remove the fuel hoses from the tops of the float bowls, unscrew all four of the Philips head screws from each float bowl. Inside, you'll see a 10mm wide x 3/4" long valve that is bolted to the top that you just removed. Use caution when removing the top, so you don't mess with the Black round Float that hangs from the top. When you take the top off, you'll see the valve and be able to remove it with a 10mm wrench. Clean it up and inspect the rubber orr plastic tip on the inside peice of the valve to make sure it will reseat when put back together. It also might be time to just call Bruce at www.ztherapy.com He has everything you need. Valves, gaskets, etc, etc. Dave

By the way, There are only about 13 left (unspoken for) as of this morning (11/24/09 @ 10am) and probably less after I check the mail this evening. So keep this in mind while you decide on waiting. Arne, I can't check that measurement for ya unless I tear the car apart. I cut my crossmember into 3-peices and 2 of them are holding my control arms to the car. Otherwise, I'd go and measure it for ya. I'f I had to guess. When you see the R/T being used, and the crossmember is also mounted but without the stock mount, it looks like the diff is about 1" lower than stock. So if you use the stock mount and a bumper, you'd likely have to remove about 3/4" to 1" from the bump stop for is to sit directly above or on the diff. I would probably prefer it touching to eliminate ANY movement. Dave

Well I guess it would have helped if I would have tested the 260Z wiring before parking the Z for tear down and rebuild. The yellow wire is the key. Here's what I know..... The Black ground wire is just that and doesn't go thru the delay unit (intermittent amp relay system) The Blue/red is a Positive from the Acc relay and the fusebox. The Blue (Low Speed) and the Blue/yellow (high speed) wires go directly from the switch to the motor. The Blue/White and Blue/Red go to the delay unit. Not real sure how the unit works but the L/W and L/R are tapped by the delay, so disconnecting the delay unit allows the wires to go directly to the motor (or relay in this case. So if you want to turn on your wiper's delay unit and test the Yellow wire during and in between pulse to see if it's positive or negative and basically test all the wires and post your results. I've already messed up any chances of testing mine. Knowing what the wires do when off and in delay mode as well as high and low will help me invision the answer. Like I usually do. Dave

I'd have to study the FSM to really know, but if it's anything like the 260Z, with the intermittent wiper delay unit (1) 4 pin and 1) 6 pin connecter, up in the passenger kick panel, the it's a possibility. But remember that the Honda swap loses the stock wiper delay, so you'd have to do the relay system that I've posted before and buy a delay unit to get the intermittent wipers again. Dave.

Great Point Carl. It just felt like everyone was going overboard on a simple comment. Would be nice for the Den or Reckroom when me and the wife have a house WITHOUT kids. I love Wolves, she loves Bengal Tigers, especially white ones. So our bedroom has Posters, pictures, Puzzles and stuffed animals all over it. And somewhere in between, you'll find Datsun and Zcar memorabilia on the walls and shelves. A full set would be an Awesome Grout buy thing though. Dave

I don't think they are welded in, so you'll have to try the "wiggle and pull" aproach. While pulling away from the block, try and wiggle it loose, but not too hard as they are tubes and will collapse or crease. Dave

I get 56" X 32". VHS is 7.5"x 4" and the sides are 5.5 tapes tall by 9.5 tapes wide. Or something like that. I know I'm close though, give or take an inch or 2. I still want one to frame and put in the shop. I bought 2 of those Datsun Flags from the CZCC classifieds.
