I also have the tank vapor valve that is suppose to also run to the air cleaner off, I ended up with unexpected extra lines when I remove the smog pump and stuff that was rotted and locked up , I honestly think the fumes are from the valve but not sure where to run it to , I love Chinos Ideal but was thinking I could do that with an extra tank down on the firewall side, chino do you have any issue with the gas eating the plastic?

I have 3 screw su's with k&n filters so I don't have a spot to run my overflow hoses from my float chambers, I was thinking of runing them to a t and then running them to the fuel tank flow guide valve which has an open line where it went to the air filter to burn off the extra vapors, getting alot of gas smell in the garage since I got it running , any thoughts?

get you some 3 or 4 screw round tops and rebuild them kits are like 25 bucks and try them before going and spending money on new carbs , my brother has twin webers with cannon downdrafts and he is going to the 4 screw su's now , hard to beat a well set pair of su's , I would check on ebay or zbarn or maybe midwest z , good luck

maybe a dumb question here but can you use mikuni solex and webers on the canon intake or must you get specific intake for each type of carbs for triples

on the 16 inch size you are limited to a few makers , I know of a couple for 17 but they are not cheap , konig, panasport and ssr all make 16 as far as I know but ssr and wantanbe makes the 16 and 17 or a 15 old school look but are not cheap at all, and kinda hard to get them in the states , just depends on the model of wheels , again I have found them to be rather pricey ,http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/main.htm and for ssr is http://www.speedstar.co.jp/collection/ssr_mesh/index.html I have some info on dealers in the state but not much good luck
