anybody know who sells or makes anything like this , I know motorsports sells the black only set , or does anyone know how to get an outline for it , I love the contrasting gray color on the tunnel carpet I tried doing this on my 71 a long time ago and it didn't come out that nice , http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/tur0801a01_free/index.html I appreciate any help thanks Jeff:geek:

hey I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction , I need the handle thats attached on the sliding silver door on the center console of my 1972 240z , and is there supposed to be an ashtray in there? I can post a pic if needed , I just cleaned it up and put a new boot on it thanks Carl appreciated the help, or if anyone can show me a pic of what is supposed to look like , thanks Jeff:geek:
  5. I was looking at the 25 mm rear swaybar by nismo for my 240 , is it too big for it , not familiar with them at all?
  6. who does the jet hot ? is it like the aluminized headers?
  7. I also have the 6 into 1 header, thinkng of getting it up there and tight then have someone touch it up a bit , not a muffler guy
  8. I was also checking to into olderstyle wheels but a mesh , and if you to the makers website , Enkei , bbs or who ever it is , I have found that they never list anything for a 240 or 260 z yet when I talk to distributors of mine for wheels and give them the offsets and lug size needed I find some, not alot mind you but some. I have to totally agree and say if you want the old slotted wheels in anything bigger than a 15 good luck , I have rarely seen them in anything other than 14

if you find a radiator shop specifically , most people charge around 80-100 to recore it <believe that is the term> I have seen the the 3 rows at msa for 200, not sure how much you were gonna spend , but I have found the dirtier and older the radiator guy is , the better the work he does , not sure why :classic: good luck ,
  11. sounds crazy but have you had any work done on the back of the car in the last 6 months or so , if so check the area serviced , there are alot of parts that could come lose if someone didn't do it correctly , had that happen to me but I would bet on u-joints , good luck:geek:
  12. actually its the aluminized and with the ssssuperrrr turbo muffler as if there was super diffrence :geek:
  13. ok I went with all of your suggestions and got the turbo exhaust from msa , hhm does anyone have a pic of it installed on their car so I can make sure to get on correctly , I know you are saying it only goes on one way but I am sure I can find another way <especially the wrong one> also does the tip have to be welded on at a muffler shop? and is recommend having a muffler shop tack it after I get it bolted in? any thoughts would be great thanks

Alan thanks for the info was gonna post the same question , by chance were the watanabe wheels a option in japan or just an aftermarket add on?
  16. another I have used is to just list the weight of the item packed and the zip from where its being shipped from , they can get an approx $ for shipping , but its a problem easily fixed froma buyer stand point , bid only on items with a fixed , shown price for shipping , I don't care for the mystery price of shipping

yes they are made of a clear plastic , and go in quite easily , if you can get them from nissan you have to buy in set of 5 , ended up selling the rest of mine on ebay , where can you get the brass ones?

    Pepsi?:devious:
  19. been selling on ebay for a while and its a double sided sword, you try to ship for a fair price and recover your costs of packaging and time to packed up the item and not to charge to much to discourage people from bidding, If its an item thats already preboxed I just charge the actual rate, but got to be honest , some things I hate to sell because you know its a pain to pack up and make sure it gets there and not be in multiple pieces. I honestly rarely bid on anything that doesn't have a fixed price of shipping , also been ripped off in my mind because I know what it takes time and packaging wise, I just hate the people that show up at UPS or USPS and just lay an item on the counter and say I need to ship this < they are always righ infront of me > , but I love ebay just for the fact you never know what z parts you will find , but you have to look through the crap sometime to find the good stuff,

I would email him back and figure out if he knows what he is selling , you might also check tirerack or some others for those wheels that price is ok , I am guessing he means that his car was lowered or it was out of alignment and the tires have ether inner or outer wear that is abnormal , if you have the 4 on 4.5 hubs be sure he emails you a pic of the size embossed on the wheel , almost bought some from ebay from someone who thought he had one size and ended up another , saves time and grief , good luck
  21. hhhm I bet the seatcovers make it go even faster I just wonder why there isn't a pic of the "race" motor ,
  22. the green you refer to is code 112 , I also would look at every body panel for lines or waves or just use a magnet with a coating or a thin towel to avoid scratching your finish , with black paint you should see alot of the flaws if there are any in a bright daylight from the side , good luck , by the way the Lime green looks pretty good on Z's
