  10. I have been told that 20w castrol if best for the carbs or fork oil , If you are talking about the float lines from the carbs to the air cleaner , it won't affect how it runs it just dumps the extra fuel from the carbs <if any is there> to the air cleaner, if we are talking about the same line. and if you put too much in the carbs its ok if you raise the piston inside the carb it will get rid of the excess and just get burned in the engine <as I was told on ye olde ztherapy video > , good luck:geek:

you can buy that exact spoiler from motorsport auto http://www.zcarparts.com/ they also have a very good selection of stock and performance parts , also victoria british , alot depends on the part , if you have su carbs I recommend ztherapy highly , did business with them and was very happy , http://ztherapy.com/ if you need any more info on specific parts suppilers many people on this site can help or they might have them as well, did alot of homework from this site for my 240 , great people on this site good luck Jeff

I have seen webrings that were car clubs not sure why they wouldn't have a z one as well , that would be my first place to start , other than some newspapers will advertise in like the automotive section < we have a thrusday ride section> put an ad for starting a new club , good luck
  14. I think there is an issue somewhere there, you got me worried as well , I have planned a simliar motor except an e-31 and su carbs , hope you get it back up to snuff

hello all. question here , should I use a motor flush , the car sat for roughly 1-2 years , it has oil in it now and the car is running but I haven't driven it yet , was gonna change the oil and didn't know it would doing more harm to use and engine flush to ge the sludge out , I am gonna replace the sending unit and clean the cam oiler bar after I flushed the engine, Also anyone heard of putting tranny fluid in the crankcase to loosen up that stuff? I honestly don't know if it is that dirty show 84k on the odo and the papers the previous owner had suggest this is true as well , thanks

yes you can use 1989 ish toyota 4 runner calipers and a i think its 83 turbo disks but you have to use a spacer plate , seen them on ebay and other sites usually runs 65-85 bucks a set for the spacers and then just get the other parts that you can get from a junk yard , good luck:geek:
  21. i had the same issue , i switched from the phillips to a regular screw drive and had someone hold the carbs as I leaned into it to put pressure on it and they came out ok , but even the z therapy video says use a regular screwdriver , good luck:geek:
  22. ok its runs great on choke but can't get the car to idle off choke so I can tune the carbs , as soon as I release the choke it idle drops off way too low, and its running very rich from the exhaust , I have the z therapy video but their car idled without the choke on :stupid: appreciate any help Jeff:geek:
  23. seerex replied to quansta's post in a topic in Carburetor Central

  25. seerex replied to WoodyReck's post in a topic in Electrical
ok first does it make any noise at all when you attempt to start? if not you might want to check for an inline fuse , alot of datsuns have them and when one goes its like you don't have a battery in the car, check the manual or a service book < chiltons> for it, try that if you are not getting any noise good luck Jeff:geek:
