Central Valley Z has invited "Z" owners to join them in an outing on November 6th to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA. Meeting time is 11:00 AM in the Winchester House parking lot. Admission is $19.95 per person for the house tour which takes 65 minutes. If there are 15 people or more, the tour will be discounted to $15.00 per person plus they will reserve an area for participants to park. There are counties within California that the only time a smog is required is upon transfer. Set up a P.O. box or a mailbox (MBE etc.) in one of those counties and have your registration mailed to it. http://www.smogcheck.ca.gov/ftp/pdfdocs/Program_Map-Dec_2003.pdf The grey areas on this DMV map are the ones that require only at change of ownership.

Ron Fuller cvzonc@hotmail.com Dear Datsun/Nissan Fans, Tentatively Peter Brock plans on visiting the Datsun/Nissan Corral at the Monterey Historics around noon on Saturday, August 14th. He has a very busy schedule with a number of sponsors but he said he would like very much to join us for a visit at the corral. Also John Morton said he plans on visiting the corral. He will be driving the Lotus again this year. This is an opportunity to share your beloved Datsun/Nissans with two racing legends. It will be a fun filled day followed by a delicious Basque dinner at San Juan Bautista. Please join us. Or we can discuss it at the corral. I will be sending corral passes with the tickets. Myself and a couple of others will be staying in San Juan Bautista at the San Juan Inn because it cheaper than staying close to Monterey. There is a nice Basque Restaurant in San Juan that serves tons of food, is good, and reasonable (about $11-$12 per person). We can discuss it at the corral.

I have purchased some of the tickets "out of pocket" and the corral is reserved -- but I have some tickets to sell so if you're interested contact me at cvzonc@hotmail.com while the supply lasts. The track told me the tickets and passes will be printed the first week of July and sent out and I wil be forwarding them with some information of some of the other activities going on in the area that weekend. It was nice putting a face and voice to those that I met at Blackhawk this past weekend. Weather was pleasant and the show was a success. Thanks to all that attended. Keep in mind the Monterey Historics Aug 13 - 15 with a corral on the 14th. Another good time to be had by all!!! Ron
