floor pan replacement
Question for the masses, I need to replace both floor pans. My questions are: 1. How much do i need to cut away from the existing, and are there measurements available to me? 2. Can I leave the seat brace there, and just cut around them, then weld new pans in? 3. I know a skilled welder, is this a hard task to perform?

Interior rust removal
Man, I'm just full of questions today. I LOVE THIS SITE!! I need to remove pan rust as well as rust on other spots on the interior. 1. What works best for removal (wire brush on drill or elbow grease)? 2. Should I prime and paint after removal (entire interior or spot)? 3. Should I install noise dampening material or OEM type padding before laying carpet?

Carpet questions
Allright all, A few questions regarding carpet replacement. 1. What is the best replacement carpet available? 2. Does the carpet cover the areas where there is diamond vinyl/plastic? 3. Do the carpet kits cover the shock towers? 4. I recently visited a site where i saw electric blue carpet kits as well as many other colors. Can anyone lead me in the right direction again?

Zedfindings Floorpans
Gracias, MPerdue, I knew the thing about the caps in back of my mind, forget because most of my usernames and passwords are case sensitive to caps. Yes, my z runs great, and looks good cosmetically from the exterior as well, just need new pans and all new interior components. Please give me the welder info if it "PANS" out. Pardon the pun! Thanx again, Mike Harrington
