  1. thanks you all for helping me out with my webers fouling plugs prob. will scope out best place to tune webers. and since im here, Q1. once tuned, what then makes triples high maintenance? is it mainly just keeping em synced or are you always messing round with mixture screws. q2. is there any one sparkplug that rules the roost? my own experience shows the ac/delco 4's resist fouling pretty well, and in my engine that says alot . price 3.99 apiece. your thoughts most appreciated. thanks a bunch.

    I have a 71 240 with a L28 running with triple webers. more often than not I get sooty plugs. after reading material here I increased plug gap to .042 since i have a accel super coil and 76 solid state ignition. any other basic things to check for this condition? and the size of main jet in bottom of fuel bowl was a 50. thanks everyone.
