That's Fred Sangalangs car. You can hear it run on that MSA Sounds thread that a member loaded here. So Tom (240ZX) it's now in the "TADPOLE" stage, blunt and roundish in the front and slender towards the rear Fred is a great guy with some different ideas on modifications, leans to the extreme. He also owns that wicked 4 X 4 Z with the shiny V-8. Vicky
  2. Yes I know, I was just being a smart aZZ, hence the rolly laughing faces after my comment. My bad :cheeky: Vicky
  3. Before or after you refurbish your plate, put a layer of clear coat on it. It will protect it from fading. The plate on the 240Z was starting to fade from the Florida sun so the body guy shot it with clear coat and it looks brand new. The 280Z plate was clear coated from day one and has not faded at all. FWIW Vicky
  4. 30K for a Delorean?!?! I do believe you can pick one up for under 20K. Know a guy that shows one around here. Bought it off the original owner for 10K.......and it has no rust . Vicky

Tomohawk I didn't post that info on the fuel filter, Scott did. I know nothing about such going ons. I do believe it's the same one that's under the hood. The billet fuel filter sold by MSA. Look on the MSA website www.zcarparts.com Vicky
  6. Thanks all for such nice commnets on Scott's car. He gets all the credit since I really didn't do a darn thing on the car. I do clean it so that has to count for something. Ben , I've seen your car at MSA in 2003 and she is gorgeous :classic: You should be very proud of all you've done. Marc, that is a fantastic Z. Congratulations to all owners of Z cars (S30's) they are all winners since they are sitting in your garage rather than in a junk yard or being crushed. One day even the 27th Z will blow all our minds, right Chris! Vicky
  7. Carl, My fac...Vintage Z did not come with a radio. However; I tracked one down on the internet and the radio was an original '72 radio with the stock speaker. It cost me a few pennies but it was worth getting the correct radio for that year.Still need to run the speaker wire to the speaker but tested it and it works. Just one more thing to do on my Honeydo List.

I installed 2 K&N fuel filters: one before the pump and one under the hood. Easy installation and they don't need replacement cores. Just pinch off the fuel lines, unscrew and wash out plates. They however are more costly than other types but definitely worth the extra $$$. Just my 2 cents. Scott

John, Finding a transport company can be a nightmare. I Google searched car transport and got a boatload of companies. I too inquired about shipping costs and these people were suppose to e-mail me back or return a call with a quote. Only a few responded so I made an inqiry to my insurance company and they set me up with a carrier that they use. All has gone really smooth. The company took care of all the paperwork and were very professional. My choices were limited to only a few transport companies due to where the car was being picked up i.e. Canada but there are many who transport within the US. Get as many quotes as possible and check credentials. Good luck and congrats on your possible purchase! :classic: Scott

Hi Will, I also questioned the dash when I saw the cigarette lighter hole covered. I don't believe that the interior is leather, looks like vinyl to me. All in all not a bad looking car for $ 15,000.00 minimum bid. Wonder what the reserve is? Love to own another but are sorely out of room. Trying to find a place for the new Scarab Z that will soon be arriving at my door. Yes Will you heard it right! Z ya! Scott

I really don't care for side pipes on a Z or any car for that matter. However your car is very nice, don't get me wrong. I think a set of dual exhaust pipes comming straight out the back is a meaner look. JMO Vicky

  21. Now that's funny. C4 as in transmissions, C4 as in explosives. Funny stuff guys. Did Ford make a C4 tranny? I had a C6 in my 73 Mach 1. Vicky

Ahh...............Not my cup of tea but hey it's your car. I think the Z is most perfect with a nice solid color. No flames or wild graphics. The lines of the Z car are near perfect. A wild, far out paint job like that will make your car look like a toy IMO. But if you go that way, do post pictures :classic: Vicky
