"Very rare passenger side mirror". Engine bay area is a mess IMO. Never was a fan of all red interior in any car, nor do I care for a white car. I like the hubcaps, that's about it.

Not so much car guys, but automakers. I owned a 78 Trans Am and on the hood-scoop it said 6.6 litres. I've seen early 70's models T/A's with 400 c.i. on the scoop. Early Boss 302's are now 5.0's. I'm kind of thinking it was when the US tried using the metric system in the 70's, no? Vicky

  4. Will You understand that I was being a smart azz, right? I wasn't suggesting he do that, quite the opposite. But as the thread started out. "It's your car do what you want". Just leave off the spinners. What else are these ricer manufacturers going to come up with next? Wait, I know, the neon lit steering wheel Vicky

Both. During the week it's more from work because that's where I spend my days. Weekends, obviously, is from home. Like now I'm at work and should be working, but I'm completing a poll about where I log on more often, work or home. Vicious circle this web site isLOL Vicky
  6. Electric purple with a set of spinnersROFL See, by saying this smart azz comment, you can narrow it down on what NOT to paint your carLOL Vicky

OK, back to trivia questions. Here's one What was the first year that american automakers started measuring engines by litres rather that cubic inches? Vicky

The exact amount IMO is................NOT ENOUGH. Zhome.com has the answer but I'm at work and really shouldn't be this involved on the web. Just can't stay away from this site. (Hey that should be a poll! How many folks log on here while at work) Vicky

No Hair types will tell you that they're more stealthy. Less hair means less drag, hence faster speeds, leading to more tickets and finally being dropped by your insurance company. Vicky

Nor did they mention the No-Hair types either Vicky
  15. The only 350Z I want is an original Scarab built by Brian Morrow. I know, I know, it's just a V8 Z to some, but I still want one. I'll end it here because this could anger some Vicky
  16. Glad you had a nice day Chris. I'm wondering how that Mr. Clean Auto Dry Wash will work. Says it's guaranteed to leave NO spots. I was thinking of buying one. Go wash your Z and let us knowLOL Vicky
  17. It's a sports car, paint it yellow! Or.....any color you what. Vicky
  18. "Big Sam" would be my replication of choice. You can read all about this famous Z race car on zhome.com Vicky

Thanks mperdue. Guess I should have tried a further search:stupid: I feel like a doofus. But now I have the answer to my question:classic: Vicky

I've seen gear ratios from 2:56 up to 6:50 in a racing supply catalog. Can someone explain what the ratio is? Like for example, 4:11, does that mean for every 4 rotations, another gear, spline, etc. turns 11 times? If this question has been answered before I'm sorry, I tried looking it up but couldn't find anything:ermm: Vicky

Zhead, I beleive those are Weld Racing Draglites. My husband has a set on his red Z in our gallery. They weren't cheap, had a hard time finding a set to fit the Datsun bolt pattern. Summit sells them...........but for a Z, I'm not sure. We ordered ours from a local tire and wheel store. Vicky
  22. Not on the dash, you'll ruin the beautiful lines of the famous Z dashboard IMO. Glove-box is my choice. Be like Monster Garage where the car must appear to be stock...........but is far from it:classic:
  23. I love itLOL Well put!!!!
  24. Simple, Z = Rock & Roll and ZX = Disco. Which would you rather have in your "collection"LOL 'nuff said
  25. I've always loved those, but I don't love 'em enough to pay $600.00 for them. The guy that did all the polished stainless under our hood could fabricate those for less than half the price. I kinda thought they made a Z look like it was wearing a pair of glasses anyway Vicky
