If i'm not mistaken, the same rack was used from 70-78 Z's. I have one that is great condition except maybe replacing the boots. The boot started to crack on the small end and I went ahead and changed the rack because at the time I was putting all new parts on my 77Z while it was under restoration. The 72 FR 240Z didn't come with a radio and I finally located one from a guy in Texas. Paid a hefty price for it too. Installed the radio in the car, was ready to listen to some tunes and come to find out there is no speaker in the car......duh. :stupid: Vicky

Those are nice Ed. I had a friend that was the 2nd owner of either a 77 or 78 280Z and those hubcaps where on the car. Those look great, just a simple clean up and they'd be good to go. Nice of you to just give them away.:classic: Vicky

You know I would have to say "Red", but that's a given. Anyway, when the 350Z first came out, there was this color which was kind of maroonish/brownish. Was it called Brickyard? That would look great on an early Z. I think Nissan only offered that color one year. But that "Lemans Sunset" is blindingly beautiful. Vicky

I sure wish we were comming out this year, but it's not in the cards, what with the gas prices and all. Plus we went to the Z Car convention in New Hampshire in October. Sure would be nice to meet all you guys. Have a great time and maybe we'll make it out in 2005. Have fun!:classic: Vicky

I think the low 20's seems fair for that car. It's an exceptional restoration. I must agree that since it is modified and not restored to original factory specifications, it would not be worth as much as the cars offered through the Nissan program. That car appears to be restored with the same detail as the factory offered Z's, but the backing of Nissan is what increases the value of the program cars. If I had the garage space and an extra 20 or 30 grand, I would consider adding that car to my fleet of Z's. She's a real beauty. Vicky

Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings Suspension Techniques lowering springs (Z is lowered 2") Tokico 5 Way adjustables 1" Heavy duty sway bars 4 Wheel camber adjustment kit Front & Rear strut tower braces Quite a painful ride in my opinion, but it's not my car.
