I checked on Carl Beck's web site zhome.com and it is listed as a Vintage Z. Scott

Hi Will, I also questioned the dash when I saw the cigarette lighter hole covered. I don't believe that the interior is leather, looks like vinyl to me. All in all not a bad looking car for $ 15,000.00 minimum bid. Wonder what the reserve is? Love to own another but are sorely out of room. Trying to find a place for the new Scarab Z that will soon be arriving at my door. Yes Will you heard it right! Z ya! Scott

I really don't care for side pipes on a Z or any car for that matter. However your car is very nice, don't get me wrong. I think a set of dual exhaust pipes comming straight out the back is a meaner look. JMO Vicky

  5. Wow, I thought I was going to be reading a story about how you wrecked that beautiful Z on your way to work. Going to the ZFest Auto Cross on June 11th Sean? Vicky

Bill I know you're not talking about his '68 390 Coupe, right? Vicky
  7. Now that's funny. C4 as in transmissions, C4 as in explosives. Funny stuff guys. Did Ford make a C4 tranny? I had a C6 in my 73 Mach 1. Vicky

Great shots Stephen. Bravo. We need more shots of members racing. Vicky

Ahh...............Not my cup of tea but hey it's your car. I think the Z is most perfect with a nice solid color. No flames or wild graphics. The lines of the Z car are near perfect. A wild, far out paint job like that will make your car look like a toy IMO. But if you go that way, do post pictures :classic: Vicky

K&N Filters for everything, air filter, oil filter and fuel filter. Scott even retro fitted a K&N for my vacuum cleaner and A/C unit in the house. Not really but that would be cool Vicky

Why doesn't someone replicate "Big Sam". That's a great racer with lots of history. Does anyone know of a replica of this champion? Vicky
  12. I think the azz-end looks like the old Shelby Daytona Coupe. Was watching a show Saturday and they were interviewing Carrol Shelby about his cobra. Funny guy and quite honest about the flaws, most notably the handling. He said that back in the day when someone whould ask him who designed that car he said Goodyear. I thought that was great. Vicky

Glad you had a good time. We're going next year. Scott and I wore our CZC shirts to MSA as did Victor Laury. Carl Beck is great guy, just lives down the road from us. Can't wait for the pictures. Vicky
  14. Any undercarriage shots? I think 5K is not to bad. Start pointing out those spots you question to the seller. Maybe offer him 4K. I would never buy ANY Z without lifting the battery. I think it's a nice car. Good Luck Vicky
  15. Fred Sangalang. Nice guy with some great cars. His mods are not for the faint of heart. Vicky

I read in the paper the other day that the 350Z was voted "Best Premium Sports Car". Beat out the 'vette............if anyone cares.............most here don't..............but some might................so that's why I posted Vicky

You either hate or love #112 Lime-Yellow. Most people I know hate the color. I like ANY yellow car, especially a sports car. Dodge is going to offer their Charger in some of those familar 70's colors, Plum Crazy, Sub-lime, Go ManGo and the Daytona Editon will be retro (as retro as you wanna call it by todays standards). Red, Yellow and Black are my favorite colors for sports cars. I guess I need a Ferrari then Vicky

    Color #112, Lime-Yellow Vicky
  21. As far as the fiberglass cracking during vibration, wouldn't you find this more often if it's molded onto the body of the car. A friend has the same kit we have and he molded his to the body, went over a simple speed bump and the dam cracked and seperated from the car ever so slightly. Our fiberglass kit is not molded onto the Z. It is mounted with stainless screws from behind with a light thin strip of cushiony rubber thats undetectable on the car. The rubber absorbs the vibration and jolts of rough roads. So far so good. Another advantage of not blending the kit to the car is if you do scrape a curb the dam is easily unscrewed for a quick repair, then screwed back on. Vicky

I use unleaded pump gas (93 octane) in my bone stock 72 240Z. Seems to run fine. Vicky

  24. Urethane can crack also. I like the mild look as opposed to the snow plow style. Vicky
