Chris, I belive, as Carl said, that it is a '73 240Z. I had a '73 many years ago and remember the door pulls. I now have an early 260Z and it has the same one piece handles as the 280Z. Skip
  2. Hello, I was going through the R200 I just picked up at the local pick n pull. I was supprised to see the damage to the casing caused by the cross pin. This rear end had 150K miles on it and came from a '80 280ZX, 3.90. Is this normal wear or is there a problem? Thanks for your help. Skip

I am looking for a cylinder head for my NA L26. Got the bad news yesterday that mine was warped. I would prefer one in N. Calif so I could pick it up and save on shipping. Please let me know. Thanks. Skip

Hello, I have searched through this site as well as a couple more and cannot find out if anyone has actually installed a 2 sp fan from a 3.8 ltr Taurus into an early Z with a L6 motor. I picked one up at a local yard and this thing is huge. I think that it is way to deep. Any thoughts out there. This is for my early 260Z. Thanks, Skip.
  5. Hello, I have gotten back into Z's after a 25 year absence. Back then there was nothing like this forum so I am very thankful for this as well as the other forums and I look forward to your input. I am refreshing an early 260Z. She is up on jackstands now and probably will be for another year or so. I paid $250.00 for the car and have decided to take her down all the way. I do not have much history as the PO died 2 years ago and the car sat. I will be putting a 5 spd in and after going through the posts it seems that a 3.9 R200 would be the best choice for gearing. This will not be a daily driver but my speed days are over. So to my question, if you had the choice, would you go for the 3.7 LSD or go for the 3.9. Thanks, Skip
