How often do you see 240-Z's on the road?
Past six "Z" cars this past week. I expect to see them all hibernate for the winter. The weather was outstanding for Oct/Nov.

Just purchased my first Z! '71 240z
Welcome Brooks; I am not in Oregon but, do get down that way a couple of times a year. I am in the last stages of getting my 70 back on the road. Jim

First De-Rusted Dogleg!
I got the same story over two years ago. I bought them from Motor sport for less money. Had them in my hands less then a week later. Even had Tabco stickers on them.

spindle pin -locking bolt
You don't want it to turn it will wear the mating surfaces. I would suggest that you hone the arms so the pins slide in freely. I used a piece of scotch bright fastened in a piece of wire and my electric drill. This takes the corrosion out in just a matter of minutes.

The bumpers were replated by: Star Bright Chrome Plating Oregon City OR 97045 The wheels are Keystone. They have been on this car since it was new. If anybody has seen Keystone center caps I am still searching for replacements.

Another couple of steps closer. Picked up my bumpers last week from the chrome shop. My wife said " it is beginning to look like a car again. What do you think?

Replacement hood
I ordered the hood from a Nissan dealer. Walked in with the part number and they said they would have it in a week. Called me four days later and my brother stopped and picked it up for me. Owning the club CD on part numbers has paid off over and over again.
