Bought my Z at 19 still have it a 48. Getting to where I have both the time and money required to redo it. Still the way she came off the show room floor. Jim
I still have my 240 from 1970. Still like it the best. It still has the same old stuff it came off the show room with. I too am into original is best. there will always be some one who will blow by me like I am going backwards. Yet I, still have the feel of the road. Love my Z. Jim
I too was in the Airforce during that time with a 240 still have it. It was bought in Oct of 70 in Seattle Wa. Serial # HLS30-6160 built in 6/70 per the placard in the engine compartment. I have 180,000 mile on mine and still have not taken the head off. Rare yes, it is getting very tired. I also am in the process of restoring mine. has not been on the street in ten years. Jim Coffey
I ordered your CD on parts but, in the mean time I am looking to get started on the refresh of my 70 Z. It was orginally sold by Hoyt Datsun in Auburn Wa. I bought it in 77 from Monroe Street Datsun in Spokane, WA. and have had it ever since. Does some one make a replacement gas tank for these cars? If not how are you best restoring the ones we have. This car is stock except for the wheels. I never have had those. The orginal dealer put mag wheels on it.
