  1. Thanks for the insight. Planning on removing the hose going to the intake manifold plugging. I’m in NJ and do not plan on driving the car in the winter. Also I don’t see the AAR anywhere. thoughts on best way to remove the housing bolts without breaking them?
  2. Hi all ‘74 260Z here. I would like to replace the thermostat housing, water temp sensor, thermostat w new. As you can see in the image, the old housing has a tube/hose to the manifold (a/c connections have been removed by PO), and the new housing has provisions to drill and thread the same tube/hose. I’m not sure if I should keep the old tube connected - drill/thread, or ignore it and plug the hole going to the manifold. I’m replacing the components because the temperatures are reading poorly since I purchased the car. Thank you, Jim
  3. Update: the parking lights harness' 15A blade fuse was partially split. I glanced at it at the beginning, and confirmed it yesterday that it was indeed broken. I replaced it and the running lights are working again. Still no side marker lights though. Plan is to replace the side marker housings, and see which wires are faulty when the 15A fuses "splits" again. @SteveJ do you have the parking light harness too? And all replacement LEDs (and electronic flashers) you listed have no issues with it? Thank you so much for your help!
  4. Where is C5 physically located? Are they labeled? Thanks guys.
  5. The relay checks out and is clicking. I did remove the relay and went OE state. Still no running lights. Now the hazard and breaker lights are out too. 😞
  6. Opened up the stalk and it looks like we have a relay… I’m not sure yet what the loose connector is for.
  7. Thanks @SteveJ
  8. I'll try to get this sorted out with your tips and get this resolved. Cheers!
  9. Recently purchased '74 260Z with non running side marker lights (everything else lights up). Stock fuse components. PO conveniently cut the wires on all 4 side markers. I spliced one side marker (cleaned housing, etc) and replaced with new same spec bulb. Turned on the combo switch, bulb lit up along with front/rear running lights. Within a minute - all the lights went out. Checked 20A fuse for PARK/TAIL and it's OK (replaced it also, lamps still out), removed fuse box and inspected behind for signs of failure - all looks good too (no crusty stuff). Is my issue now the combo switch like I've been reading? Cheers.
