  1. Thank you, gentlemen, for the help. It was the switch, I disassembled it in place, one of the plastic pin and spring pieces had come out of its hole and was floating in the switch. I cleaned the contacts, reassembled and now have park lights and tail lights!
  2. They actually look pretty good, I cleaned them with cotact cleaner and re-assembled with dielectric grease. No melting or corrosion.
  3. Thank you siteunseen, looks like this is the next project!
  4. Thanks, I was suspect of that. Nice to get confirmation.
  5. So no continuity between 2 and 6 click 1 or 2.
  6. Great thanks I will start tracing.
  7. Thank you, that's a great picture with the numbers and wire colors. So number 2 is a Green/Blue coming from the park circuit fuse panel I assume?
  8. Hello all, I have a 1973 240z that I have been bringing back to life. The fuse block had the parking light melted through the plastic cover and base, plus some other suspect repairs, which resulted in most of the lights not working. After getting a big wiring diagram and some late nights, I have managed to get all the lights working but not the parking lights. The grounds are good, but I'm just not getting power to the parking lights when the switch is in position 1 or 2. My color diagram shows a Green/white wire that turns into a green wire for the front and the same green/white for the rear. It also shows a green wire from the fuse panel to the other side of the light switch. If my headlights work on the same switch, why would I not be getting power to the parking lights? Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the combination switch? Thanks for the help!
