Their is only one problem with this. If you are going to put a V8 in, at least make it a decent one. The problem is the 4 letter word you used "FORD" I guess you could use the engine to hold the tarp down over your Z so it don't blow away

The engine had 3 soark plugs removed, the distributer i gone and the efi isall hacked up.

So my parents are starting their own little farm, and they wanted a small farm truck that they could use around the house. Well I found a 1975 Datsun Pick up through a guy at school. He said he knew this old man that had it and wanted it gone. I told dad about it and he was interested. So we go and look at the truck. The owner, who happened to be a very nice old man . said he wanted 500.00 for the truck. Dad and I both almost past on the deal as the truck has allot of rust and God only knows whats wrong with the wiring. We started to leave but the old man stopped us, he obviously really wanted the truck gone. he said " I will sale you the truck for 250.00 and I'll through in this old car that's in the barn for free" Well the car in the barn was a 1975 Datsun 280Z. At trans very little rust. Two small marble sized dents in the drivers door. Interior is shot, as well as the engine. Car dose have new brake cylinders on the back and new rotors up front. new starter in box and a freshly ground cam. So feeling a little bad I gave him the cash and towed her home I cant seem to upload and pics....

Thanks guys. I am going to put a 4 spd in for now from a 240z. Do i need to order a clutch for that year tranny, or does that matter?
