late 1970 Datsun240Z
Front vie- since this shot was taken, I have rubbed out the car several more times, even wet-sanded to bring a better reflection. I also put new suspension on- Tokiko adjustables up front, tokiko sports in the back, MSA springs, all new poly up front, replaced all of the ball joints.

engine bay
Better shot of the key areas in the engine bay- Minor surface rust under the battery tray form the previous owner- He had an old battery that broke on him- SUPER SOLID! otherwise I would never have bought it. (The paint flaked off) I could toch it up, but I would not want to hide anything

Dellorto Vs Weber
I can't tell you how great these carbs are to work on. They are pretty simple for the most part, with a sound that will turn heads. I have the Dellorto 40mm carbs on my 70 240 (L28) mated to a TWM intake manifold. I was skeptical about the carbs when I fist got them, but I found that they were easier to adjust and more reliable than all of the other carbs. I am by no means an expert on carbs, so I was pretty amazed that they were as easy to rebuild as people said. I am still working on the art of tuning, but they are balanced and they run like hell. You can purchase the carb rebuild kits from CB performance (Superformance) out of California. This shop is fantastic. YOu can get just about anything you need. Here's a pic of the dells on my ride: <http://www.classicZcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=9419&password=&sort=7&thecat=500> Good Luck! Dan Zimmermann

the big picture- still needs paint
The car will be repainted red, as factory as possible, with a special pearl in the clearcoat to give it a WICKED flop. As for the S/N- I have to go check. The car is a late 70. built date of 12/70. One could almost say it is an early 71-but nothing electronically compatable. Brakes are different too, which has made it a pain in the #$$.. The car originally came with Libras, but I had these from my other car, and well they just look tasty. Dan
