  1. For a comparison of the various Z models over the years, refer to this table one of our TIZCC club members put together. http://www.tizcc.ca/zeds.htm Specifications are as published by Road & Track... I own both a 72, and an 83 ZXT 2+2. The 240 is a sports car with no frills. The ZXT is a cruiser. Most noticable difference between the 2 models are the creature comforts on the ZX that we take for granted in our daily drivers (Air, cruise, power steering, windows etc.). I like them both for what they are. Neither are for sale....(sorry Carl:) ) GWGarrard

Spike - See if you can make contact with some of the members of the Atlantic Canada Zed car club.. at http://www.atlanticz.ca/ . There should be someone who can help you out, maybe even locally in Moncton... Regards GWGarrard

Fun in My Z - The dictionary defines Snow as: Frozen precipitation in the form of white or translucent hexagonal ice crystals that fall in soft, white flakes. In reality it is a white layer of ice crystals that covers pretty much everything for 4 to 5 months of the year in the Northern hemisphere usually above 43 deg latitude.... depths may vary. The most important asset of snow is that it teaches drivers the car control that they've forgotten for the previous 6 months... (although some never learn...) GGarrard Osgoode, ON, Can

Zguitar71 - Ahhhh....the joys of living in the north country. Our's was put in storage the 20th of October, and we'll have to make do with the family Altima until probably April, but...at least we have something to look forward to... (all the crazy drivers who don't know how to drive in the snow...) GGarrard Osgoode, ON, Canada
  5. Sean- What you need is JeffSilverZ's engine to take on the 502 Chevelle...Give Jeff a shout - he's talking engine swap.... GWGarrard TIZCC

Patrick - Well done...superb example...proves the wait was worth it!! You'll have to show it off to the locals!! ZHead240 - Storage prep for my Z consists of filling the fuel tank, adding fuel stablizer, disconnecting the battery, and pulling the car cover over it. The car sits in an insulated (but not heated) barn along with a dozen other cars and close to 35 boats for 5 or 6 months. One of the fellows does put moth balls on the floor of his interior to protect against mice, but I've never bothered - and haven't encountered any trouble...(It's too cold around here for mice). Towing with a tow dolly can be done with either the front wheels loaded or rear wheels loaded. I've done it both ways. I'v used the seatbelt of tie the sterring wheel... When flat towing (with as tow bar) I've removed the half-shafts to eliminate the possiblity of the drive shaft "falling out". GWGarrard
  11. Pyrospark 911: There is a Z club operating out of the York region - The White Rose Z Club. Their club url is: http://www.whiterosezclub.com/ and they list a couple of contact names and numbers... Good Luck GWGarrard Ottawa
