Jaynez31, two ways to go. You use all the right stuff from the model year of the tranny i.e. the slave, throw out bearing fork and clutch kit from the tranny. Or the stuff from the engine model year. That's how I have learned to do my swaps. I always try to use the model stuff of the tranny when rplacing hard parts first. So if i swap in a 280Z trans in my 71 I use the parts from that year trans. For the clutch master I have not had any problems with using the stock one from the model year of the Car itself. Also if your clutch that was installed is the bigger Turbo or 2+2 unit you need to run that flywheel as well. one more thing is the pivot ball inside the bel housing in good condition? :devious:

LanceM, good point. cnixzgo has your fuel filter and fuel preesure regulator, and fuel pump?

Bill & Will, What's the rent like way out yonder? The freaken going rates of rentals out here is the low end of a damn house payment. Will that's what I was hopping for, maybe some knew someone. As the local papers are no help.

Like Bambikiller240 said. A loop in the alternators regulator circuit will allow power to be leaked out back into the cars ignition system even if the switch is off. Look into what Carl said about the Diode installation, which will isolate the alternator at shut down. :devious:

Primary and secondary test. Using an ohm meter. Sounds like you might have just blown your head gasket though?

is low any relay should get Bat V. Or as close as B+ as possible. You have a bad Voltage drop at your relay or in the connectors. You should have four prongs on your relay. One B+ feed key on. One that grounds the coil side of the relay with the engine cranking above four hundred. One that when that condition is met B+ and the last is the actual Voltage to the pump. The pump is a voltage drop to ground after itself, 4 Prongs, 2 +, 2-. :devious:

True that. The Electric pump only works at key on for a few seconds for fuel system prime. Then if the the car does not start above four hundred or above rpms (if i remember right through the oil pressure ssending unit) it will not run. Saftey dealie. Check your fuel lines as well from the tank and at all connections. Any leaks, weather the leak or suck air will affect the way the pump(s) do thier jobs correctly! :devious:

Yeah Brian, the bolt patterns are the same. I have the four bolt honda adapters. Wish I had extra cash for the five lug upgrade though. Working on getting the parts for both four bolt and five bolt upgrades. Making the last parts to buy are the Rotor hats in both 4 and 5 lugs. Nope not any more. took everything out of my name and went and bought non-owner insurance! The only thing that I might put under my name is the Zed when she's ready for the road. I don't believe that an other states system for insurance has no effect on the rates here in Ca. If my insurance company does business her and say Maryland, and the have to payout more often in Mayerland because the law makes them, what stops them from charging a little bit more here and there to make up for thier loss?
