  1. New price: $8,000, including the chance to load up on a decade's worth of Z spares in my barn. Now, who's got an IRS refund check burning up his pocket? Web page has also been updated to remove possible confusion. It used to be titled "ITS 240Z for sale", a leftover from my previous Z that was sold last fall.
  2. Sent a clean tank to Fuel Safe in Bend OR. They filled it with a cell and attached AN fittings to every original orifice. Should support any number of FI setups... There's also a fuel level sender with instructions on how to calibrate.
  3. If you look in the gallery you will see that there is no passenger seat currently in the car. PO [1984-96] managed to stuff a 3rd cable into the housing at the base of the choke lever. I haven't looked to see whether he modified it in some way or not. On Webers, it's more a one-shot enrichment device than an actual blockage of the venturi. I never use it. Repeated stomps on gas pedal work OK with the gear reduction starter cranking away.

  5. No, this is a dedicated street car that I bought in GA back in '96 and drove home. PO was an engineer at GT; he had installed the L28 with goodies and the Wilwood brake kit from AZ Z-Car. I then added coilovers and Tokicos, upgraded the ignition and swapped in the R200. Took it to a test day once where I discovered that its Centerforce clutch was a POS. Wayne saw it there. Claude Saffer and I ran the car in the Jefferson 500 two years ago, its only "competition." We ended up swapping the rear calipers for a different set to give the braking more balance. Otherwise, we just drove the car and had a blast! Both my ITS cars are in new homes and still actively campaigned. The first #91 is in MA, and I just sold the second one to Bob Pharr in NC. Bob did a shakedown at Kershaw and is now getting ready for the '04 SCCA season. Will post some pics in the gallery soon. Russ Thomas was a fine racer and a good guy. His last podium finish was my first. Like most shrinks, he had a sharp wit.
  6. Documentation goes back 20 years. Street legal here in VA. No rust, straight. L28 w/flat tops, 3x Weber 40 DCOE's, header, NISMO slalom cam, ZX ignition. Autopower cage, racing seats, spoilers. Coilovers, Wilwood brakes. Cell. 2x 5-speeds, NISMO alum. flywheel. Sorted for the track now. 4-row radiator, Torsen R200 3.7. 12 wheels/tires including 2 sets Panasports 15x7. Lots of spares. Many pic's available. $9500.00 Rusty Ford: rford@rockbridge.net Car is in heated garage in Lexington, Va.
