Mastadd240K that weatherstrip rubber is it the one between the front window and qtr window?

try a machinist or engineer place that shouldnt cost a lot I recently got a new drag link/centre rod made up for my ute and the cost was reasonable. We use metal shims at work but they're narrow strips I could've pinch some for you hehehe.

The hub adaptor cant be pushed in more to be able to touch the contact? if not quick idea... get some metal shims there are pre-cut ones already measure that if it fits otherwise just get sheets and you can cut some. Then maybe drill some holes and screw it in on the back of the hub but the screw must be in not extending out of the ring otheriwise it will stuff things up.

oh i didnt notice, yeh thats the one, is that contact touching the hub adaptor or boss kit?

Hey Lachlan, can you take a photo of the hub adaptor kit and the steering wheel's front & back? is there a sprung contact on 240ks when you take the steering wheel off? maybe its not touching the back of the steering wheel? Cant you just use a horn ring off another aftermarket steering wheel?

Thanks Jim Lachlan I'll take new photos of the 240K and the parts I have collected so far, I'll post this weekend. Its more like squirting up from the gasket of the fuel pump. Pine Rivers took 2 weeks to fix mine cos I told them I got a car show to attend to hehehe, the mouldings were very badly dented and scratched I was going to throw them away but couldnt find any replacement so I did my research and found one guy that fixes mouldings if the old one is really bad I think he copies them from scratch. You can see his ad in the yellow pages under S/S moulding repairer? I called him and he said he is very busy if I wanted to be on the line of his customers I'd be waiting 6 months for it. I had previous experience with Pine Rivers when I had some parts chromed, so went back to them and asked them if they can do me a favour and fix my S/S mouldings and they did a good job straightening and polishing the moulds. I'll post some pics for you lachlan this weekend.

Hey everyone havent been active here for sometime now...been very busy I got my car towed yesterday from my mums house to my house. The car hasnt been started for 15 months and yesterday it started after a few tries. Noticed blueish white smoke out the exhaust (valve seal or something else) also petrol is pissing out of the fuel pump where the gasket is. I'll be storing the car again for sometime as I'm putting the project on hold again... or will do it really slowly as I'm doing apprenticeship on panel beating cant stand IT anymore. anyway I'll probably check the 240K forum more often now...

this car is not mine but its up for sale in QLD $4,200 2nd owner looks very immaculate condition If I have that spare money I would buy that straight away

Lachlan, most of the major cosmetics... but there's still heaps to collect though. Yes I found GT badges but not sure if its genuine I think its remake or something but its very close, I'll look for it and take pictures for you guys to decide if its close to the real thing. so far I've got front & rear spoiler, overfenders, GT badges, GTR badges front and back, fender mirrors (looks brand new!), skyline badges, GTR grille, and planning to get the other stuff after the holidays. You never know might stop in Japan again.... regarding the seats might just find something comfy and sporty locally dont mind them anyway.

I de-registered my car after my holiday from Japan now it's sitting at my mum's lawn, it's sad to see my car just sitting there... the project will be postponed AGAIN as I'm going for a holiday again next month its good though that I mostly have the GTR cosmetic stuff ready There was one 240K advertised on the trading post last week for $600 in brisbane described as in good condition, wonder who bought that...

Anyone knows where I can get that rubber between the front window and the quarter window? (the one that is attached to the quarter window) mine is a bit worn out cos people who sits at the back of my car constantly hit the damn thing.

240K lights have 2 outside Red lenses and 2 white inner lenses. the GTR version have 4 Red lenses GTR 240K (Michael's car)

Hey Lachlan why dont you volunteer to be the 240K guiney pig for swapping radiator? You can start measuring and go to your local wreckers and see whats similar You can always buy a radiator hose and cut/modify it and also use a stainless muffler tip as a joiner free from exhaust places for offcuts Then maybe just fabricate new mounting. Might be a cheaper alternative. If I would to spend AU$375 for recore i would just add more $$$ to upgrade to aluminum. Goodluck!

parts for this car are getting ridiculously expensive I rather add that money on engine conversion/suspension for that price

you can take it to any radiator shops/place and you can get them recored and you can tell them to make it thicker extra core or something if they dont have a similar replacement. Aluminum would be great light and more efficient. i would get one when I have the $$$ try PWR radiators I heard they are really good they will make any dimension you want. Let us know when you've replaced your radiator.

last time there was one similar to that started 5,000 yen and it went up to 48,000 YEN so my guess that would come up somewhere close to that figure as well.
