Door Weather-stripping
Thanks for the information on the weather-stripping. I asked my contact to double check the part numbers before I ordered them. I also provided the numbers you gave me. Come to find out they made a mistake and their part numbers were wrong. Price went from $32 a door to $68.80 a door.

Door Weather-stripping
I found someone on the internet that will sell me OEM door weather-stripping for the 240Z real cheap. The Nissan part numbers they gave me were G6921-W6000 and 76921-E4101 (x2 for each door). I called the local Nissan dealership and the part numbers they gave me were 80335-N3700 for right door, and 80336-N3700 for left door. I also found a thread from this site with part numbers 76801-E4100 and 76802-E4100. Can anyone confirm any of these numbers? I would like to try the G6921-w600 & 76921-E4101s as they are very reasonably priced at $32 for each door. Just not sure if they will fit and are OEM. Thanks.

Door Weatherstripping
Has anyone tried the door weatherstripping made by "BAD-MFR"? Saw this on ebay and was wondering if they are any good. I tried the VB wethersripping and I could not get my doors to close without slamming them and that was without the window frame installed. According to the writeup, BAD-MFR made the O.E weathertripping for Nissan. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6763&item=7935985586&rd=1

Tan Interior
PRSGozill; I am seriously considering changing from a green exterior / tan interior to blue exterior / gray interior in my 240Z. If I do, the following items will be up for sell - custom cloth & vinyl seat covers, custom cloth & vinyl door panels, carpet kit with shock tower covers, cloth headliner to match seats and door panels. I purchased the car while it was in the middle of restoration so the upolstery has never been sat on/used and is still like brand new. None of the items are stock looking, but do look good. If you are at all interested, I can post some photos.

Glove box replacement?
Maybe someone could scan the idividual templates and make a downloadable PDF file? I could do it, if nobody else wants to. I would trace mine and do just that, but I threw the template away after I made mine, not thinking I might need them.

Glove box replacement?
I used my old old box and carefully remove the staples, traced the parts onto some heavy duty poster board and cut them out with a razor knife. I scored the back side at each location where there would be a bend so that it would be clean and sharp. Then I covered the inside with the same fabric that I used on my seats. It's not stock but it looks kinda cool. I chose to glue the pieces together for a cleaner look rather than use staples or rivets. BTW, I had to remove the heater fan/box and right side defroster vent tube to get my box out and then back in. Photo of finished glove box.

Differential Repairs???
The photo provided is one of three I found. Looking closer, it does look like it could be a casting defect/repair. I guess I'll put it in the car and see what happens. Can't see anything abnormal on the inside of the case? Thanks. Another angle of the one on the right side.

260Z sitting for 20 years
I don't know where you live, but in the Western part of the US we have a very nasty (and sometimes fatal) disease called Hantivirus that is carried by the Dear Mouse. This disease is trasmitted to humans by inhalation. I would disinfect any and all areas where nesting and/or droppings are found with a 10% beach solution and let it sit for 30 minutes prior to cleaning it up. Just my 2 cents. More information if you are interested. http://www.hantavirus.net/

Differential Repairs???
I just purchased a 1978 280Z r200 differential from the local junkyard. I plan on putting it in my 72 240Z. When I got it home and cleaned it up, I noticed some repair of some kind had been made on the case. Looks like someone was welding on it? Since I am new at all this, I did not know if this is something that is normal, i.e. done at the factory? Is this something I should be concerned about?? Thanks. Photos are provided.
