Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a 72 240z. When I test drove it, a high pitch whinning noise came for the rear end, and I noticed a tiny oil leak coming from the passenger side axle, where the alxe meets the differential. I am used to working on toyotas..AE86. A high pitch like that usually means that the the ring and pinion gear is shot but we could drive it forever as long as the fluid level was ok. Is there any safety issues since if I purchase it, I would have to drive it approx. 100 miles to get it home. Also wouldt r200 differential from a 75-83Z bolt right in? Also what is a mustage bar? Please help I just want to make sure I know what i am getting into. Thanks Smraijck
