  3. Are they straight up and down or are they kind of like a cross hatch pattern (I.E - like a big X all around the cylinder) If they are like a big X pattern that's pretty normal...helps the rings seat to some degree during break-in and also bore lubrication. webdawg1
  4. Looks like something the PO owner made up...perhaps...looks almost like a heat shield to me...have any idea what they might be made out of?? The metal holders you have will far outlast the plastic holders...plastic holders have been known to crack from the heat... webdawg1
  5. Time to break out your secret weapon...DONUTS !!!...that and find one of the "Old Timers"...if any are still there...couple of Z story's (for the old timer) and you're good to go...couple phone calls to the manager/dealership owner might not be a bad idea either...be amazed what happens when you start talking to somebody's supervisor...asking for first name, last name, badge number, supervisor's name...etc...etc. Have done this several times when dealing with HP tech support... LOL webdawg1

  7. Need the part number for the upper/lower fuel injector gaskets or no...should be able to get them from your local Nissan dealer without to much trouble...helps if you have the part number(s) in hand when you go in to see them tho...and if they are really dense..show them a picture... webdawg1

Enigma, Good point on the data security. I see some interesting stuff as well ...my intention was mainly to give him a starting point so he could save his Login/Password for the Zcar forum...so he would not have a repeat of locking himself out of the Z website and forums.... webdawg1

Maybe this will help you out some...just a little trick I learned a long time ago...being a IT tech type I've got quite a few sites I log into and after a while you forget all the various passwords/Login IDs...just make one up for the various sites you go to and as you change passwords/Login ID stuff print you out a hard copy and put it in a cheap folder and you'll have it real handy when you need it... webdawg1 The Classic Zcar Club.doc

  24. Do you have a copy of the EFI Bible? Would help you out quite a bit if you do have a copy on hand...FSM (Factory Service Manual) as well, due to the fact that the EFI Bible makes reference to certain sections in the FSM during troubleshooting... webdawg1
