You can also use speedbleeders. Use the search feature and you should turn up a pretty fair amount of info on them. See the following url for more info and price... http://www.speedbleeder.com/ webdawg1
  3. Might also try MSA at the following url: http://www.zcarparts.com or call (800) 633-6331 and ask about item #11-3205 (for 79-83 model year fuel tank) and expect to pay around approx $500.00 in cold hard cash plus shipping charges...believe you would be money ahead by finding out what Moyer fuel tank renu will charge you to check it out/repair it... webdawg1
  4. You can always send it off to these guys. They do excellent work... Moyer fuel tank renu at the following url: http://www.gas-tank.com/ Unless you get lucky just about any tank you find at a pick-and-pull will probably be in the same condition OR worse than your tank...Let us know which way you decide to run with this... webdawg1
  5. I guess there's some truth in the old saying "Bigger is Better" Get the biggest honking compressor you can get your hands on....You won't be sorry you got the bigger one...Well...maybe you will...when it comes time to move to another house you might have some second thoughts... webdawg1
  6. Here's the P/N for the nuts...#43262-W1200 Should be able to get them from your local Nissan dealership...should be about $4.xx each. Might want to get an extra set while you still can...if you know what I mean... webdawg1
  7. You can check these guys out as well at the following url: http://www.redtek.ca/ webdawg1

Saw the following auction on eBay. Seems to think he's got a couple of Mazda's () One of them appears to be a 240Z (Yellow one in the front)...thought it might be of some interest to someone looking for a parts car or shell... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/datsun-280z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6783QQihZ002QQitemZ120122500883QQrdZ1 webdawg1

I got my 7/64" (2.8mm) hose from NAPA. Item #H458 It's actually windshield wiper hose, but it fits quite well and appears to be more heavy duty than the OEM hose that was used from the factory...etc...etc. Pretty much just took one piece of hose off at a time and used it for a template for the new hose as far as length goes...etc...etc. webdawg1

I would venture to say it was probably <Never Mind> Just a wild guess tho??? webdawg1

I checked the price online first...Price was somewhere around $53.00 - $54.00 dollars. Saw this one on ebay and won the bid at $21.00...so I'd say that was a heck of a deal...In case anyone might be interested...the sellers eBay handle is carbjunkys and I think they still have one or two listed on eBay. They got it right out to me via UPS ground with no problems at all with the transaction... webdawg1

Look what I found on eBay the other night. NOS Hatch Lock with two (2) keys for my 75 280Z at a really decent price...jumped all over it... webdawg1

This diagram should get you going in the right direction...I bought a whole roll of 7/64" vacumn tubing to do my entire system. (I.E. - Under the dash, Under the hood...etc...etc) If you're going to do it...you might as well do it right the first time and move on to something else... webdawg1
  15. TomoHawk, This might help you out some. I believe the connections should be the same up thru 78...You can use it for a wallpaper as well...() as it's in a BMP format... webdawg1 Vacuum Hose Diagram.bmp
  16. Corrected the naming on the pictures. Should look this...Driver side and passenger side... webdawg1
  17. I believe I have my pictures labeled wrong. Checked on the bushings as installed in the car...out in the garage. On my 75 280Z they are both pointed to the back (I.E. - Long part of the bushing pointed to the back part of the car) webdawg1
  18. Do they (the bushings) look different than the two pictures attached. I suspect that they probably got the right side 180 degrees from what it should be... webdawg1

You'll probably like the floor model better...Table top units are ok for the small stuff, but if you get anything of any size and weight you'll be banging around inside the table top unit all the time... webdawg1
  21. I see them on eBay from time to time. Usually it's someone that's selling Poly stuff... webdawg1

2003z, How about JetHot? I know that it is pretty much used on headers...etc...etc. How about the intake and heat shield as well? Would probably be a little bit of overkill...but from what I've seen of it...it should hold up quite well under the hood... webdawg1

2003z, Can you recommend another product that will hold up to the underhood enviroment most engines will see? (I.e. - Name brand, Item #, Vendor) I think he was kind of thinking along the lines of powder coating.... webdawg1

twsutt, I'll check when I get home tonight and see if I can see the outline of when it was actually bolted up to the bottom. (Read lack of dirt/mud/dead bugs/vermits/and lots of grease) () That's why I restated my comment about it being possible to install it wrong. () webdawg1
