EFI - periodic rough idle and shut down
I'm thinking gas tank as well... Have you had a good look around inside the tank recently?? Has the tank been redone or is it OEM to the car? (I.E. - Original tank that came with the car from the factory) Pretty much sounds like it's sucking up trash/crud from the bottom of the tank when you run it really low on fuel...along that same vein of thought you might want to change the fuel filter if you have not done that recently... webdawg1

1975 280Z broken wire with pic
If you look on the back of your A/C compressor you should have one (Blue) wire coming out...follow that backwards into the wiring bundle. You should have either a Brown or Black wire that's taped inside that same two wire bundle that connects to the wire you are pointing out...which is for the B.C.D.D. On my 75 280Z it's Brown...In the wiring diagram it shows it as being Black...should be pretty easy to find... webdawg1

Heater Control Valve
Might want to get cozy with the idea that you'll be spending money on this car...and lots of it... Just ask anyone that's been working on their car for a while and ask them to total up their reciepts...Normal answer would be something like "OMG...I've spent THAT MUCH money on Parts, Paint, Tires, Rims, Engine work, Body work...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc. Don't let the car hear you though...something else will break on ya... webdawg1

Water Temp Switch....P/N: 22120-N4200 Water Temp Sensor....P/N: 22636-N4200 Thermotime....P/N: 22635-N4200 or 22635-N4710 Temp Gauge Sender....P/N: ???? (Could not find a P/N) Wire colors for the water temp switch should be...Black (which is ground) and blue. The blue wire should be coming out of the water temp switch and hook up to a red wire via a female bullet connector. The Black wire should be grounded using any bolt within reach... Hopefully someone has the P/N for the temp gauge sender... webdawg1
