looks like mine exit right behind the console through the firewall in the center, maybe a lil towards the driver side. I'm now thinking because i tried lubing them and and linkage on my su's that they may not be my problem. they seem to be working now. when i choke my car it seems to magically unchoke itself after a couple of minutes. 30sec to a minute it starts to down in rpms. i dont get it. i know when i was manually choking it yesterday pulling the choke down on the bottom of the carb, they didn't want to stay pushed in. could they just be gummed up so they wont stay on choke? or any other suggestions?

that spray from the recharge kit worked amazing. it washed out a lot of brown water and dirt and junk that didn't come out after i just washed with the hose. i was really impressed.

  10. that is a good idea bill. and i would be game for that cept for the fact that i am in school. the rings and all that should be done. The previous owner had the engine built up n42 head, valve job, port n polish, schneider stage 3 race cam and such electronic ignition, no smog. He ended up sitting the car in his warehouse and letting it sit while he pulled stuff off it for his 240 which he raced. Also i am in school currently and short on money. Plan to do some interesting things in the seminear future though. Car runs fantastic but has some odd things about it. Its like a really hard running tough frankenstein car.
  11. Thanks guys, To be honest I didn't know I couldn't pull the oil pan off with engine fully in the car. It looked to be a tight squeeze yet possible. do oil pan gaskets go after time or are they usually fairly sturdy? could it be that my oil pan might already be warped causing this dripping of oil? thanks again brian

I found one this past saturday morning, but its not in very good shape. The part that mounts nearest the driver door on top of the fender has some nice rust at the mounting area and the outside skirt where the edge of my spoiler bolts up has some too. I'm going to try to reinforce it with some aluminum sheet metal. I appreciate your help. I may be contacting you soon if this doesn't work out. thanks again
  13. hey guys, I seem to have a leak coming from my oil pan so i have purchased a new oil pan gasket. My car sat in a warehouse for about four years and i cant seem to get my oil to stay clean either even after using motor flush so i'm guessing i have gunk on the bottom of the oil pan. As long as i tighten the bolts in a cross pattern, installation of the pan and gasket shouldn't be a big deal right? I was recently warned to be careful because i could warp the pan putting it back in if i dont torque it down right. How important are the specific torque specifications as long as i'm tightening in the cross pattern? thanks, brian

Hey peoples, I recently got into an accident where someone claimed my driverside fender, headlight bucket, and headlight bezel. If anyone knows who has a fender in particular and if i'm lucky a headlight extension let me know. thanks everybody
  15. hey everyone, i have a 74 260z in which i seem to have torn up the differential. I read on ebay that a late 90's subaru legacy has a 3.90 that will supposedly fit into a 240. Does anyone know if this is tru or if any fabrication would have to be done? And if it will fit in a 240 it would fit in my 260 right? thanks for your help.
