Right now the 280Z isn't lowered. Still not decided on whether to pop for the Panasports or get Fast Forward rims and tires for less than the cost of the Panasport rims themselves. The only issue with the Fast Forward rims is the center cap fit. Supposedly a little adjustment to the dust cover and it will work.

0 offset is what I'll go with.

Build a 240ZG body style with a modern 6 and chassis. Make it light and handle great and they will come.......

I am looking at getting a set of 15 x 7 Silver Panasports for my son's '78 280Z. If I do this I'll be selling the OEM Factory Alloy 14 X 6 wheels & tires. I bought these off ebay and put a new set of 195/70HR-14 Sumitomo HTR 200's on them 02/05/2004. Two of the rims are slightly bent but balance out OK. I have driven on them and they drive well. They could be easily refinished to like new condition but I am thinking I'd rather put new Panas on the car. Just wondering what the value of the wheels/tires would be and if anyone is looking for a set of these rims. Asking $375 plus shipping. PM or email me if you are interested. Any suspension mods as far as lowering springs etc? I like the stance with the Panasports.

The vendor told me they have issues the same as the Konigs.

Yes. You can get wheel/tire combos as well at really nice prices. Guy seems to be legit on Ebay. Gotta decide if I want wheels/tires for less than the price of a set of Panas..... I have Panas on my '71 240Z and love them.

I am thinking of replacing my son's '78 280Z's factory Datsun alloy wheels with these in Silver 15 X 7. Just need to figure out the center cap solution. MSA sells caps that look like they fit.

You have PM. I am interested in the center cap issue with these wheels. They look great in your gallery.

I have been told the Fast Forwards have the same issue as the Konig Rewinds on the center caps. Mars23z what did you do to get around it?

I first saw it on my normal 240Z Ebay search. I have yet to find any locally.
