I have already installed KYB's and new urethane bushings on my '78 280Z coupe. I was wondering what the addition of some new Nissan European springs would make to the cars handling. Will they work OK with the KYB's? European Spec Front Spring 122lbs/in 2.2kg European Spec Rear Spring 142lbs/in 2.5kg Not for 280Z 2+2 Fits 9/1974 and up Anyone here running the KYB + Euro springs combo on a '78 280Z?

Nuts. I wish they had shown the Z's. I am sure Brock Yates would have made some smart arse remark about them.

Performance Nissan is selling the Euro springs at a good price. How would these work with my new KYB's? How much would they lower my 280Z? http://performancenissanparts.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1002_1005_1085_1093 These sound like stage 2.

  11. Anyone here running the PDK front strut tower brace on a '78 280Z? Any fitment problems?
  12. Bump for Ron.
  13. Ron,Did you ever confirm whether the PDK front strut bar fits a '78 280Z w/o hood modification? There is still some question on the new MSA bars.
  14. Banzai sells this one for the 77-78. DE-14 Paint color number decal 1977-1978 $8.00 He sells a diff one for the 70-76.

  16. That's my plan with our '78 280Z. If and when the motor ever needs to come out I plan to redo the engine compartment to match the redone exterior & interior. Hopefully the original motor can be redone as well.

Sean I just got through with a similar fix. The Z sounds alot better now. Sal at MSA did reimburse me the $100 it took to get the system to work. The Dynomax Bullet makes a big difference in the noise/boominess.
  20. I had the Dynomax Race Bullet installed today as a premuffler. It made a huge difference in the car. Took out most of the annoying boominess. It was worth every penny.
