  5. I have a Hitachi Cassette Player that was in my 1974 2+2 for sale. The original owner had it installed as an option when he bought the car from Castle Motors in Sydney. The unit worked fine prior to being removed from the car about a year ago and I have the original owners manual in very good condition. If anyone would like to make me an offer please PM me. Highest bid by Saturday morning (10 July - Sydney Time) wins. Cheers,

Those 8 tracks were something else weren't they. My father had one but only three cartridges - Perry Como, Bing Crosby and the Carpenters.:stupid:

Thanks Alpha, They are rather cool aren't they. They looked especially good in the green 2+2.
  11. They are from my the 240 engine I had in the car I recently sold. Because the engine was a bit noisy I had put a rebuilt 260 in. I included the 240 engine in the sale because it was original but I kept the carbs because there was already a set on the 260 engine. Confused .... ? Me too. Bottom line is Yes they will suit a 240.
  12. Oops, sorry. That wasn't from the other side. I'll post some other photo's later - got to take them first.
  13. ... and from the other side.
  14. I have a pair of SU's I want to list on e-bay but I need some assistance in describing them. They are British SU's and have the following numbers stamped in various locations PDC2A, AUD9, AUD2140 and AUD2277. They are only a few years old and are in perfect condition (Photo attached). Does anyone know if there is a generic model number that I can use in my advert tag? Thanks in advance.

It is with a great deal of regret that I have decided to sell the project car. I cannot spare the time to do any work on it since I started my own business (plus I need the cashflow ;-)). The car is a 1977 260Z complete (except for the windscreen) but in many parts. I stripped much of the paintwork before running short on time and although I covered the bodyshell in Oil there is a fair bit of surface rust on the roof (nothing that an hour with a wire brush wouldn't fix). It has a 280 engine and I will throw in a spare L26 and heaps of spares from the parts car I had including a second bonnet, extra drivers side wing, and heaps more. I am asking $1,500 firm for it and I will organise and pay for transporting it anywhere in or reasonably close to Sydney. Please e-mail me if interested: nigel@spreadtheword.com.au Cheers,

I have the following 2+2 parts available as a single lot: Driver's seat; Rear hatch with glass; 2 x dashboards (both cracked); Interior door panels; Rear seat - needs recovering. If anyone is interested PM me. I will take a dozen bottles of Rosemount Chardonnay for the lot. These items must be collected, I do not have the time (or the inclination) to organise shipping. Reason for sale: I need to free up some space so I can resurrect the 260 restoration. Hoorah!! :classic:
  20. Thanks again to those that expressed an interest. The car has now been sold. I am very sad to see it go but needs must prevail. To the purchaser, who is a member of this club, you have a great car there enjoy it and look after it. I still have the project car and I am looking forward to getting into that again some time soon.
  21. Thanks to those of you have expressed an interest in the car. As requested I have posted some more photos to my gallery. If anyone wants to see anything particular, let me know and I will post a shot - no time wasters please. Cheers, Nigel
