  1. Did you keep the stock brake setup? I have the stainless brake lines as well and I'm trying to decide if I want to radically change the brake setup or keep it stock.
  2. Hello all, I am considering doing a clutch upgrade. Have been looking at an aluminum flywheel, Centerforce II Clutch, roller piolt bearing, and a stainless steel clutch hose. Was talking w/ my mechanic today and he was telling about when some of his customers did a performance clutch upgrade in 5.0 Mustangs, that they had problems with everyday driveability of it. My goal for my Z is to have a nice weekend touring car for drives along the CA coast. Since I have to get a new clutch anyway, that's when the upgrading came to mind. I was curious to see if anyone had done what I'm planning on (or similar) and what their thoughts about it was. Thanks in advance.
  3. I'm looking at doing the same to my suspension. I'm curious, with the Eibach and Illuminas set-up, did you keep the stock 14" wheels or did you change those as well?

I'm curious as well. I want to do the seats in my 75 in cloth, maybe with a suede middle section. Have you already shopped around for pricing?
  5. Hello all. I'm getting ready to embark on an interior restoration of my 75 280 and I have some questions. Hope I can get some help. 1) I plan on Dyno-Matting the interior. When I go to install the carpet, should I glue it to the Dyno-Mat? The reason I'm asking this is that when I plan on doing the stereo system, I want to get a rear speaker box and I want to hide all the speaker wires. 2) Has anybody ever thought about redoing a center console in either fiberglass or wood? One of my goals for my car is to have a comfortable touring car that I can drive throughout Northern CA. I was thinking of replacing the stock steering wheel with one made of mahogony (same with the shifter knob). Thought it would look real sharp to have the center console made of the same shade of wood. Conversely, the fiberglass would be extremly durable and require less upkeep than wood. Either way, I'd like to have a holder for my iPod built in to it. 3) Does anyone know where to get replacement brackets for the luggage straps in the back? I plan on either Rit dying the straps back to original black or replacing them with leather straps, yet the brackets for the straps are horrible and I'd like to replace them. 4) In terms of the stereo, how does it sound if you keep the two side speakers and add the rear speakers? I'm a huge music fan, so stereo sound inside is important to me. That's all I can think of for now. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Do you need to glue the padding down first? I'm still in-between using padding or upgrading and using Dyna-Mat.
