my 72, l24 gets 19mpg.how fast-don't know, haven't tried to wind her out.

my 72 has a safety latch on the hood. i looked at a 71 for sale and it didn't have this latch.the owner said they didn't come with one. does this guy know what he's talkin about?

while looking for anti-sieze gook($14) i came across electrical contact cleaner($5). thought i'd try the cleaner first,disconected the wire and sprayed both contacts. fired up the zed and temp guage is working. keeping fingers crossed hopeing it's a permanent fix. glad i tried plan b first, cheaper and easier. thanks guys

my water temp guage hasn't worked since i got my zed last month.(72) the other day my neighbor pulled the wire from the sensor to inspect it and it looked clean. next day i noticed the guage reading about 1/4, then just a suddenly it quit workin.the p o said he never had a problem with it.now it's intermitently workin and not workin.any suggestions, thankyou very much in advance.p.s. when i had the safety inspection done i tld the mechanic to check the guage. he said he had it workin for a while and that all my guages were a lttle screwy.

the owner of the 280 shaved the back and took off all the chrome to lighten her up for improvement of time.i think he mainly races the quarter mile.

hls30 was available.thought about it , but didn't want to be a copy cat.z me fly also available. i saw bj auction in january and they had a highly modified chev for sale called the chezoom.i thought it was kinda cheeze at first , but it kinda works with the datsun.

the mustang belong to the wife. it's in her name.i told her i'd get her the 112 yellow auto 240 on ebay if she'll sell the mustang,but noooooooooo.she can't drive a stick. by the way , who'd win the quarter mile, me or her?

driving the zed is like when i first got my license. fun. everybody loves it. it purrs like a kitten and runs like a swiss watch.

on my windshied there's two minute chips. one has been repaired by P O and the other isn't. it hasn't started to crack yet. the repair shop will fix it for $90 but can't guarantee it won't crack during the prosses of fixing.? is since my car is stored in heated garage will that keep it from cracking or should i get the fix.( my experience is that cracks get worse in cold weather)

don't worry about what color is popular, if you like 920 safari gold go for it.i kinda like 112 yellow lime myself. if i could pick the color i wanted i would have gone with 918 new sight orange( i alway thought it was called sunset orange) 2nd choice would be 907 racing green.

when i open the hatch the interior lite doesn't come on. is this normal?

the front end does seem to wander at 85mph. will the deck spoiler help with the fumes issue?

i've had a couple of friends say they've seen me in my green car. the manufacture date on the door jam is 10/71.(vin HLS3050803)i know the model years are fuzzy but i have the toggle hazzard, two stage door opening, flip up seats but no retracting seat belts.one key fits ignition, doors and glove box but i have a different key for the hatch.(wonder why)

new wheels would be o k ? like rewinds or panasport. i'd keep the orig wheels. i see flaps on ebay that don't require any drilling, do any members have these and do they stay on reasonable well?

is there really a dark side of the moon? wouldn't it be daylite on the dark side during a new moon?

hi ggarrard. that's a long ways for me( 5 or 6 hour drive depending on T O traffic)with my job i can't make plans ahead of time.last year i went to the oakville z fest. i might try to make it this year. my zed was on ebay april 04.(birmingham detroit)it listed twice and didn't sell. i think it reached $12K but reserve not met.my P O said the reserve was $14K.i had the ebay seller send me pics and they were c'est manifique!i didn't know this was the same zed in maine till he told me it came from detriot.

one owner california car for 32 years- 2nd owner from nov 13/03 till may 04-3rd owner from may 04 till i bought it april 4th/05 which took a month to get delivered.saw the ad in hemming motors which stated - needs nothing.got lucky with an honest description and seller i think.slight ding in front bumper and back bumper pushed in on driver side but no damage.(bumper still straight)
