my sentiments exactly. i though the reserve would be closer to at least 5 or 6 K.notice ding in front bumper(not mentioned-cracks in dash not mentioned although obvious in pixs-no pixs of hatch sill rust) maybe i'm just nit pickin. underside looks really clean though.

if the undercoating looks original have a look. if it's recent stay away. i feel recent undercoat is to hide rust.unless you have x-ray vision i wouldn't trust fresh undercoat.imo

i just got my driver's license (turned 16) in 1970 when the zed came out.one year later my neighbor had a silver zed and he let me drive it once.( really cool car i though at the time during my long hair hippy days) the first and last time i ever drove one.now 30 odd years later and a year of searching for a zed in canada i've looked at four road worthy cars and not one seller has let me drive it.only ride in the passenger seat.i can't understand why,could it because i'm crosseyed and wear coke bottle glasses?

is there a difference between the 2.5 and the 3mph bumper( didn't even know there was such a thing as a 3mmp bumber)

i'm guessing 7K. can't trust the mileage unless documented. that's less than 500 miles a year. even if in storage half the time it's still less than a 1000 per year.comeon, you'd put more than that on going to the corner 7-11 for milk. this one has the small bumpers- when did they start putting on the larger bumpers?

not long ago (maybe a month) someone was selling four d caps individually on ebay and averaging about $400 each. mind you they were in mint condition never used.

the last ebay restored zed that sold for $27,000, the seller said it was #33 of 50.( only 44 were done from what i've learned on this site. correct me if i'm wrong)were all the restored zedz numbered and if so how was the order determined?also did every project zed have a console badge and quarter window sticker? last aug i was at a zed fest near toronto and one car owner claimed his was a restoration zed( only 27,000 original miles) that he bought at an auction in arizona.i only learned of the badge and sticker afterward so i wasn't looking for them. i got some pictures but they're not conclusive for or against.( i wanted to ask how much he paid but some people get offended by such questions ) maybe next year if i go back to the zed fest i'll try to look this zed up again to verify it,get better pics and vin #,just in case 26thZ want to locate and document these zedz.
