73 in Museum Auction feb 14
all 240z came with steel wheels and hubcaps. either D caps or z caps. as for the auction price i don't think it will reach 20K. more closer th 15K. negatives are- it's a flattop 73- door panel chrome coming off- and not sure but looks to be a flaw on the dash.

Zcon 2012
my results from the cleveland 08 convention exterior 88 interior 90 underhood 77 entered in the stock catagory ( three mods allowed) i believe my zed to be original paint plus i have 40 year old carpet too. i just washed and waxed the car before i left home, drove 300 miles to the convention. 26th said that the underhood is the most difficult to get point.

seat removal
thankx carl i called les to order seat foam and covers plus webbing and he told me that all 72 had springs and that my seats must not be original. my zed is setup like your car with pockets but no retractors. i'm going to check my seats out first to see if i only need repairs. they don't look to bad for wear but eventually i will have to replace foam and covers.

seat removal
makes sense. my seats are correct then if the change was 12/71.

seat removal

-
seat removal
my zed has a build date of 10/71 and is listed as a 72. i was informed that all 72 and newer have the spring bottom seats and that my seats must have been changed out with the earlier seats. can anyone confirm this info?

seat removal
i have to remove my seats to repair the seat bottoms. the webbing has broke. what's the best way to remove them. all one piece out the door or out the hatch, or should i detatch the backs and remove? i fear ripping the interior with the bolts from the seat bottoms. tia
