brother is trading in his 94 ford pu. he said i could have the gas ( about $100 ) if i siphon it out. is there going to be a problem doing this? is there a anti roll over or theft value? i got one of those siphn units at the dollar store, u know the one with a red plastic pump. looks like i need more hose though.

if using a shipper they will look after all paperwork and taxes (6%gst) and charge buyer. if doing yourself u need original title (ownership) insurance and bill of sale if driving across. US customs has to have this info 48hr prior to bringing vehicle across( check for lean or theft) then at canadian customs the gst gets paid. buyer pays pst ( 7%) when getting plates. not all border crossing do vehicle checks so call and ask first. the paperwork can be faxed in advanced and both sides need be faxed. now the value could be tricky. in the past buyer would get a fake bill of sale ( lower price) to save money. the goverment was losing a lot of money so now they might use book value or get an appraiser ( at buyers cost) if they smell somethin funny. i'm not 100% sure, others please correct if info is wrong.

not refering to the hose clamp. it's the black plastic (becomes brittle over time) tie that wraps around the rad hose to hold the temp sensor wire from dangling into the fan area. a zip tie will do the job but it's not period correct. i have mine but when i replaced the temp sensor one ball on the end broke off. never though but i could have superglued it back on, now i can't find it.

hey arne, i notices that on the braided top rad hose there's no plastic tie that holds the temp wire in place, but in the final pic with the new rad hose that tie is present. did u find that or did u always have it. where can i get one?

well, i just did new tires and alinement before i put her up for the winter. so that's one less thing. 50-50 chance of making it to ZCon 10. fingers x.

my zed is painted body color in the wheel wells and front of the floor pans. the bottom of the floor pans could be painted too but there's to much grim on it to tell.
