i've been checking ebay z listings for over 2 years and only seen 6 of these keys listed. your right they are hard to come by.my comment was ment to be humourous, it don't see it as an attack on you. i never noticed it was the same person till someone mentioned it.my thoughts were exactly the same as carl's.i've seen other items listed as rare and one of a kind only to see it sold and come up again a few months later by the same person.by the was, 6 for 6- i think that's got the market cornered.JK ps- you would have remained anonymous if you had not told us.

one key fits ignition,doors and glove box(series5) and one key fits the hatch(series6).(1972)it's a mystery because everything looks to be original on my zed.

i guess the right terminology is series5 and series6. as u know there is no upside down on these keys but one is a mirror image of the other. if u look at the key as u would down the barrel of a gun the grove starts on the right and for the other series on the left. i know that one key fits all locks supposively but on my zed on key fits all except the hatch and it takes the other series key.i hope this clear it up a titch.

u gona ship the zed by enclosed trailer? u lucky #astard, cruisin 12 month of the year no rust, no storage and sunshine 350 days a year. i'm jealous. when u goin?

hey the guy that won the dec auction won the five auctions in oct. what's he doing, trying to corner the market.

a month ago five of these keys were auctioned individually. 4 had the right grove ond one the left grove. the same guy won all keys for just over $50 except the lone left grove key was about $100.

list your location, that way u can be notified if anyone see a zed for sale in your area.also many members will check out a car for u if it's no logical to travel yourself.

same as last year- a shirt and a peice of azz and they were both too big. wife made the shirt and zclock using a pic of my car.

i've been following this auction from the start and i'm surprised it hasn't been snapped up with bin.5K without documentation,yea right. they make new rubber pedals everyday.way ahead to buy this zed than to restore a rusted one.

what about the volume, does anyone find it's not very loud even with all the setting on high?

i've got a mp3 hooked up to my original radio and speakers through my liter. it also has fm radio settings. i fnd i have to set the volume high on both the mp3 and my car radio and the volume is still kind of low. also u have to put your antenna down so as not to pick up radio stations next to the 88.1 transmit station.an amp might fix the volume problem but i'm not sure.
