Found 1972 Survivor with 5,400 Miles?
is it a 72 red 240z? when i was at the cleveland convention there was a gold medalion red 72 zed with around 4500 miles. the owner only drove it to get the mail at the end of his driveway. i wonder if it's the same one, as there can't be many zeds with that low miles.

300zx help needed
had a look today. the seller was a real peckerhead. very rude. i always ask if price is negotiable. his reply was " if u ask to negociate i'll up the price" huh??? no test drive, he'll drive , you ride. i wouldn't buy from him even if the price was right.

300zx help needed
wife needs another car. i think i might have her talked into a 1990 300zx. it's auto ( only way she can drive) but it has 300K km. ( thats's about 200K miles) AC and heater work. i'm going to look at it tomorrow. asking price is $4200. my concern is the mileage. it's a titch high. should i be concerned or should i walk away?? if it's as reliable as my 240 i'm in!!

starter problem
had to have the starter repaired. took it to a local auto electric shop that's been in business for 50 years. also the only one who would remove from car and reinstall. all other shops want u to just bring in the starter. took the car in at 2 pm and it was done next morning. the problem was the bendix ( whatever that is) R/R starter- spins out 1 drive-$25 1 shop supplies- $2 breakdown and test all components- $40 remove and install- $29 tax$10 total $85 very happy with the service. less than half the cost of a new starter and minimal down time.

mini cooper
the wife has her heart set on a mini cooper. ( used 2004 auto) i'm trying to talk her out of it but i think i'm losing the battle. anyone know anything about them- are they reliable- easy on gas- any quirks. looking at ads for pricing i noticed a few used ones have had the engine and tranny rebuilds, is that common problem? are they build by bmw?
