Maybe we need a FAQ page.. ?
  2. Bill, I dont think it's a 240K - the window looks more like a Mazda RX4 or something, but the roofline is not RX4. I don't think it's a 180B either! I was then thinking maybe a Toyota Corolla Sport Coupe, but it doesn't look quite right and the boot seems a bit long. So.. err.. i dunno
  3. Labor Day weekend? Heyyy nobody told me!!! Ed, can you tell me about bead blasting? I assume you need some kind of machine? How much is one of those? Is it messy? I have a fascination with shiny things so this little shiny thing you posted (I dont know what it is... but my engine's probably got one!) got me excited.

  6. Found this while randomly searching around... there are some great Japanese websites around. Pity (for me) they're in Japanese! Anyway, thought some might be interested to see what happens when you leave a Cedric alone for 15 years. http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~zu3h-sonm/haikyo/haisya1.htm Click on the link at the bottom of the page to see more. Hmm! Also found this link which has brochure covers for a lot of Datsuns (mainly the bluebird - I was thinking of you Chris (ZKid)) http://www.modum.net/datsun/gamle_datsuner.htm Anybody else find any cool links recently and would like to share?
  7. Babel fish is on the net as a service offered by Altavista. Go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and you can copy and paste text into the text box for conversion, or just put the URL in the "Translate a Web page" box to see the webpage in English. It's not a very good translation though, so it might not answer your question... but hopefully will be useful for you anyway.

Those bits will be tough (ie expensive) to find now... hope you have contacts in Japan :classic:. I know in the KPGC110 the wheel wells on the rear are actually a different shape because of the flares. The whole panel of course would have to be different too. I'm guessing that's the same for the C10. From previous pictures I thought this looked like a really good - and extensive - replica!! Probably a ground-up restoration I think to have the panels replaced at the rear... Gorgeous. What do you think? Thanks for the pics too! That was a nice entree indeed. :cheeky:
  9. Geez, lots of negative energy here. I'm really sorry to see you go Gary. Hope you cool down and return soon. Really, some good people are starting to fade (or in some cases it's more of a BANG!) away... These are crazy times!!
  10. You prick. I was going to buy that!! Mate, I am so coming to Sydney. Please post more pictures. As much as it hurts, it also brings great pleasure  Any chance of a video??
  11. Just wanted to say I have subscribed to this thread, and I'm sure many others have too. Very interesting discussion... will be good if we can find a product superior to Armor-All. Currently I use Meguiars. Keep up the good work, Sherlock!

Nothing? That link is probably the best resource you'll ever find for your project. If you already know about it, sorry, but I assumed you didn't because you posted it here. Geez

Here is a recent article I thought some may be interested to read: http://www.drive.com.au/news/article.asp?article=http://drive.fairfax.com.au/content-new/news/general/2004/09/03/FFXB9808NYD.html And to think, politicians STILL say they are not revenue raisers. This is absolute bollocks.

There are a couple of guys here who will be able to help, but the majority will be at www.hybridz.org

Good. I am really disappointed that some states let motorbikes ride without a helmet. I mean, where is the sense in that??? Ohh I get it, it's to tidy up the gene pool!!

I'm with Ben, love the look of a no-fuss spoiler. Here is another picture: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=7825 I also love the spook, would have a hard time choosing between them... I think it depends a lot on what you want the car to *be*. If it's going to be all period-correct and mostly original, I'd go with the spook (hold the vents please!). For your car, Moyest, I'd go the airdam. That said, I like the looks of a Z without any front spoiler too... That probably made it more confusing for you Just my opinion.

Do you guys in the US *have* to wear a seatbelt now? I thought it was still legal not to. Is it legal not to wear a helmet on a bike???? That's ludicrous! (In Australia it is illegal not to wear a seatbelt unless you're reversing, and illegal not to wear a helmet on a bike)
  23. Just a reminder - 20 hours to go, and they will go.

Hmmm I was always told the hatches are not interchangeable between 2-seaters and 2+2s. Can anyone verify?
  25. Oh THAT guy, yeah I think we all know who you're talking about there.. I guess they can give it but not take it??? hahaha, still was worth it I'm sure. Good on ya
