1967 Bluebird Wagon on Ebay
There's a KE10 that often visits the shops up the road from me. It looks in OK nick, but just needs a bit of TLC... I'd love a KE.. hehehe. Justin, did you see the one that was on Ebay a while ago??? BEAUTIFUL! Chris, you're close enough to the bluebird. :)

Well done Steven, let us know when you receive it! Are you going to get them all professionally shined up and restored?

It's times like these I wish I was rich. I'd love the challenge of restoring something like this. Where people go "But why are you restoring THAT?"... One day eh Justin?

Are you sure about that, Jim? I have documentation published by Nissan here from May 1973 (when the 240K was released??), talking about the arrival of the newest Datsun, the 240K GL. Interestingly, the pictures here don't have GL badges, just DATSUN. Also, my car is a 1973 model, a 240K GL Hardtop. I haven't got ANY material to suggest the 240K GT even existed in Australia, but through friends (ZKid has given pictures to prove it even) I know of a few 240K GT's in Australia. So I'm not denying they came here in 2 versions in Australia... not that it matters much anyway, the GT and GL are virtually identical. Have you got any magazine articles or anything with a test/details of the GT model? I'd like to see if you did, just for interest's sake!

I always ignore Corvettes. I won't say all, but MOST owners are wankers.

door ding strips
OK, each to their own. I think they ruin the car's looks entirely, but can't say they dont serve a good purpose!

Chrome plastic tail light accessories
Just another note because someone mentioned chrome spray paint - none of the "Chrome" spray paints I've ever used actually look like chrome.

Yeah thats right, some 240s did come with the fender repeaters. Fortunately, mine didn't. IMO the car looks 69000% better without repeaters. FWIW, Aussie S30s never got rear reflector repeaters. Not that I've seen anyway.

Another tip while restoring lenses - paint the backing (where the sockets are)! If you're a stickler I guess you could find a grey to match stock, but I painted them white on my Z and my K and the lights on both look so much cleaner and brighter now. You wont have that left reverse light looking all dull and grey anymore!
