Made for the US of A.
Alan, I hear there have been MAJOR rule changes this season for F1 cars, and this has produced some exciting design changes for many manufacturers - here is a pic of the new Williams cars at the demonstration today - can you see yourself in the crowd anywhere?!?!

Removing Head Rest
You just pull the headrest up to adjust it! There is no button. To completely remove it...... I did it once. I think you just sortof have to wobble it out... I looked in my Service Manual for a proper explanation but it's not in there. I'll have a look, you can remove it, just have to get it at teh right angle. Hope that helped

RB30 in 240K
I know of only one C110 with an RB, and that's Ray Ferguson's car (he is a member on this forum). His username is "prince". He has fitted an RB20 with triple Webbers IIRC (a modern interpretation of the S20 engine the C110 GT-R came with!). Perhaps you can send him a PM or Email (I suggest Email, I dont know if he comes here anymore). It is a conversion I'd like to do some time in the future when my C110 isn't a DD. :classic:

240K Chassis & Body Manual on Ebay
Hiya guys, another one of these has just popped up on Ebay. They really are a great resource - very detailed indeed. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=418&item=2254147662&rd=1 Last one went for around $50 I think wasnt it? This one isn't in great nick so it might go for a bit less!

triple SUs
It'll sound better, that's for sure! (use more fuel too, but shhh!)

triple SUs
Yeah, they exist. But I think (and this is just what I've gathered, dont believe me!) the gains aren't very much unless your engine is decently modified.. someone else will answer that one I'm sure. But that's not why I posted. :classic: Can you post some pics of your 240C please? Some of us enjoy all Datsuns, big and small!

- Was the 240z designed for America?
Agreed! How do such close-minded people get to be the judges of these events?! Of course, that doesn't include you Ben! It must have been fantastic to be a judge!! Wow, at least they're not ageist there. Don't worry, you didn't offend me in the slightest. I love hearing everyones opinion here, that's why its a FORUM! And I'm not inferring I disgree, Ben! Wouldn't it just be fantastic to have Matsuo here too? Also, Alan, I love your ni... stickling! The details are the most fun.- Original wheel trim bits :D
Ahh, ok, check a wrecker, or even better, get new wheels Your 240K is a 1977, and so it came with those wheels as standard. Earlier cars (like mine, 1973) had steel wheels and hubcaps (see my previous attached picture). In my opinion, neither look very good!!- another front

- Was the 240z designed for America?
V12? I have only heard that they toyed (briefly) with the idea of the V8 from the Nissan President in the S30...- Can you read Japanese?
Alan, inspiration from James Bond I think!! The Clipper is a funny old thing. I bet it has a cult-following in Japan, too! Thanks for hte info Gareth, I've PMed you!- Expressions of interest - Datsun 240K coupe
Awww, this is sad news. What is this NEW car that's so good eh?? EH??? If someone outside of this site buys it, can you please mention the site to them? That'd be great. Also, you have a PM.- Was the 240z designed for America?
Ben, I didn't think you were mocking my words at all! The only words of mine in this thread were two very small, smart-arse comments! The point Alan is trying to make was Domestic market came FIRST for Nissan when designing it. That's why when some features had to be compromised (such as the handbrake position), the RHD position was the one they chose. That's all! No one is trying to say any car is BETTER than any other...... just trying to make a point because SOME people in the past have said that the Z is undeniably an American car, designed in Japan. That kind of ignorance is all anyone is battling!! I agree with all you said Ben :classic:- He's Dreamin'!!!!!!
Sorry, I forgot to put the :ermm: at the end!!! I've got no idea!- Zs in video games
Yes please Gareth!! What game is that?? And yea, Cerb's site is pretty good for cars! He makes the best handling profiles... check out http://azz.gouranga.com for some more (and a good, albeit old help file) and also you'll need programs by Delfi, which you can get at http://www.infofeast.com/delfi/DNKDev/- Was the 240z designed for America?
And remember, we got the 5-Speed!!- He's Dreamin'!!!!!!
But it was Formerly owned by Sir Sidney Phillips He says 37,000 km's on the clock, and then says last service at April 2004 has 22,703km. A bit odd... If anyone wants me to check it out for them.......... - Fall Photo 3
