Trex, please post those pictures of you and your father's cars in the gallery ASAP!! I'm sure I'm not the only one here gets excited by the mention of an S800, let alone 1600 SSS and 240Z!!! Yes, the 1600 here in Australia has a huge following. Too bad most seem to think of them as just a "cool looking old datto" to put a modern engine in to make them really fly... I'm more interested in the history of them but meh, whatever rocks your boat! Fairlady, like halz said black is a common colour, however also is charcoal, which is a grey which isn't so glossy. Alan Thomas has some black ones on his car (see his gallery for pics) - I think these would be the most desirable Geez, I wish someone would buy me some "black bananas"...

Mmmm. A lot of money just for rust-prevention. I guess a lot of people do it for the looks too... I'll stick with my mild (not-rusting) steel
  8. I always wondered what a Z would look like with a slightly more gentle rear-end treatment. Now I know... droopy!!! I still think the rear of a Z could have been better ... somehow ...

Crazy RB26DETT Z31... very sleeper. I just hope the prices of these rare Zs dont increase too much, so I can afford one one day!

Just a bit of a side question, why would you want stainless steel piping instead of mild steel??? Is there any real performance advantage?
  11. Looked at them all mate  You dont perhaps have any pics with a slightly higher resolution/quality do you ??? A lot of the ones there were very blurry  How can you not them all?

yeah, steve's shaved not only his rear but his front as well!!! If it's going to be a sunday car, sure. If it was my daily driver I wouldn't though...

  14. In Italy?! They must have been brave... hehe When I was in Sorrento I saw, on the harbour, an immaculate Alfa Guilia (or however you spell it???) just sitting there. Was amazing, pity I didn't have a camera as it would have made a PERFECT photo. Hmmph. Also saw a Testarossa in the middle of Florence. Fantastic sight...

    What pictures??? :cross-eye
  17. I'm not sure how he intends to try to prove it's a Samuri, but even if it is, it looks so stock is it worth $7500??
  18. is this photo meant to be showing anything?
  19. the rear of the car
  20. engine from the right
  21. engine from the left
  22. I got some pictures, looks like the engine is pretty darn stock.................. And the ride height doesn't look too different to stock either.. definite signs that it used to have a special paint job though...
  23. WOW !! I've never seen that beauty in real life, but man, that would have been a truly amazing sight. Too bad you didn't have a camera huh? I saw a Alfa Montreal once... that's about as good as it has gotten. Gold Coast is a very plasticy, modern city. An old house is one that is over 20 years old...

Well there's no "Civic" or "Riced up econobrick" option there, so I'm putting down Saturn as I think that's the closest thing??? Screw driver, LMAO
