Hi all My engine recently started tapping - dad says it is the tappets. Anyway, I tried to open my bonnet the other day but the pull handle just pulled out and did nothing Yeah so as you can imagine I am quite worried. Ithink the cable is snapped as it's pretty easy to pull out, and I pulled the actual cable and it just kept on coming out. So ermm.. how do I fix it? Last night in first gear occasionally my car made STRANGE noises too - like werereererer and schhhhh :( Thanks, Lachlan

You mean die cast models of them? Kyosho makes the best 1:18 models in my opinion. My red 240Z I bought a while ago is absolutely perfect (almost... some details are missing). HOWEVER, I just bought a white Kyosho ZG today and when I got it home was unimpressed with the build quality. The fuel tank was broken, the door shut line was a bit wobbly and one of the wheels was bent out of whack. Luckily the hobby shop I bought it from graciously offered to replace it when I rang up. Hopefully the replacement will be a maroon one like Alan's :D But yes, if you want a 1:18 scale model I would suggest you buy that. Over in Australia they are about $100 ($50 USD) but well worth the money. IF YOU GET A GOOD ONE that is!

That's really bad... my dad had an accident with a minivan once. It was sitting in the middle of the lane with it's right indicator on, so dad passed it (in his immaculate black Alfa Spider I might add ) and she decides to turn LEFT instead. Yes, woman driver.
