1968 2000 Roadster
Woah, that looks great. I'd buy it : DDD hehe Not quite sure if its meant to be red or magenta though.. the light plays tricks... I would have thought they would be worth more than that though :-/

Sound (again)
No way dude. Where you can get a '94 Prelude for $6000 and a bloody Skyline for not much more, if I were living over there I'd be laughin' !!!

Unexpected side effect of buying my Z
I'm with Dan.... I dont get many compliments from people I dont know (actually, I've only ever got 1 from someone I dont know) but I guess its partially because I'm a young'un and the old folk tend not to approach me... also because I've owned teh car for 2 months now and only really drive it to and from school...

Sound (again)
Yeah, well I specified exactly how I wanted them to be put in - with a screw going through the wheel well holding the boxes in place, and the guys who installed all teh wiring and stuff did it very well except for one detail - they screwed the screw in so that the head was on the inside of the box. I wanted it so the head of the screw was just behind the rear wheels on teh outside, so I could quickly unscrew it if I needed to reach my tools (which are now trapped inside the little storage bins) So yeah, now I will have to somehow get the screws off, and put some new ones in with the heads not inside the box

Sound (again)
Well, I finally got myself a stereo for my Z, and I think it's a nice deal for $270 US. Thought I'd share it with you in case anyone is interested...

Graeme your project sounds very exciting ! Some pics would be great, especially of what you plan to do with putting R32 tail lights on a Z!! Also, This National Z Rally could you please tell me what this is about?

L24 vs. L26
It certainly would. Either that or find yourself a nice Skyline engine

L24 vs. L26
In that topic I posted, stock-z said "I've seen elsewhere the 260z having 139 and the 280z having 149", so they're probably the correct gross BHP figures.

What do you think of the new 350 z?
How is it anything like a 240Z in form?? The design team even said they were not going to be forced into the retro-designed cars like everyone else and that they are looking into the future with design not into the past... I see a bit of 300ZX in it but the rest is almost as ugly as a 280ZX (no offence to the 280ZX owners amongst us hehe)

bonnet vents and AC
The early cars were prone to overheat, so they added the vents when they introduced the 280Z (?) My 240 hasn't had any problems, and it was driven up from Sydney about a month ago (about a 12 hour drive) As far as I know, teh vents are good to have, but not essential if you dont drive your car hard and long often...

New Z
! that looks good, except for the strange black glow the car has 3500 US? That's about the same as what I bought mine for, and mine looks pretty similar (except mine's a 240)...
